Being able to wander while on tour was a treat, and Mountain was going to treat it as such. Most of the time, their free time was spent cooped up on the tour bus, but a ghoul-related incident had given them an extra free night.
He sat at the bar, his glamour settling on his skin uncomfortably as he nursed a märzen and listened to a local band. For as much as the music scene took from him, he was captivated by it. The lights, the crowds, how the beat felt in the soles of his feet, traveling up his old bone. It was exhilarating.
The man sitting next to him looked familiar. Had he worked at a venue? Opened for them? He figured it didn't really matter as he wasn't at liberty to talk about his role.
"They're good, huh?" he nearly shouted over the music.
Memento Mori currently wasnt on tour; for now, it was merchandising, promotion and for the album their band had just released. Sales were coming in, it had felt like a true accomplishment. A year, working, recording and mixing - they were creating better and better quality with each album. He couldn’t be more proud. It felt like closure.
Lukas didn’t often get time off, or time to himself; due to his work, Astrid or other matters, but Astrid was in Hamburg with his parents - her grandparents - for the weekend. So, he decided to expose himself to new venues, and bands, locally.
Looking to the person by him, Lukas nodded. “Yeah, I think they’re new!” He half-shouted back, in agreement. “The girl’s voice is really - ” he gestured his hand like a claw, “strong, you know?”
