"You're most welcome, forest protecters hm? That's respectable work, and yes I do quite a bit of traveling,"

Enjolras was beginning to be a little bit freaked out by this man's apparent knowledge of the future, which was only backed up by his mysterious secrets and odd clothing he'd never seen before. "How do you know when we will receive a sign? What do you know of history that has yet to unfold? Tell me!"

The Doctor shook his head, as he looked wistfully back at his Tardis. Of course he could tell him but, it would both break the man's spirits and possibly change history for the worst. These events had to happen, and as much as the Doctor didn't like a martyr he knew that if this man didn't die there would be nothing to inspire future events. "I just know- forget it, I can't tell you. Just shut up about the future, I know you want to know like every other human but you're better off not knowing. Where's the mystery in knowing?".

"And here I thought I was the only one, but then again they don’t live here in Oz, do they?" Elphaba played with the strap of her bag. "I have magic though." She said almost shyly.

"Ah but you're rarely the only one, which makes you lucky because you're not really alone even if you haven't seen them," the Doctor replied softly. "Magic? Hm well if it's not too much to ask have you got any spells to show?" of course he would hardly call it magic himself he'd learned the hard way that if a person insisted on calling something magic they would continue and there was hardly any point in explaining the science behind it.

"Oh nothing much, just sight-seeing really. I'd heard quite a lot about big forests and I've been to a few myself but this one is by far the largest and greenest,"
