A traditional sushi roll with a kick of heat, made with fresh tuna, creamy avocado, and a hot mayo sauce.
Ingredients: 200g sushi rice. 2 sheets nori seaweed. 100g fresh tuna, sashimi grade. 1 tbsp mayonnaise. 1 tsp sriracha sauce. 1/2 avocado, sliced. Soy sauce for dipping. Pickled ginger and wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice. Get tuna and cut it into thin strips. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and the Sriracha sauce. On a bamboo sushi mat, put a sheet of nori. Cover the nori sheet with cooked sushi rice, leaving a small border around the edges. Cover the rice with the spicy mayo mix. Cut the avocado into slices and arrange them along the middle of the rice. Using the bamboo mat to roll the sushi tightly, seal the edge with water. A sharp knife can be used to cut the roll into 6 to 8 pieces. Soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi should be served with it.
