okay so i had a dream in which i was standing in my bathroom brushing my teeth watching a news broadcast. as one does. i don't watch the news by the way.

so i'm watching this news broadcast and suddenly it's interrupted by the next episode -- the third i think? -- of this Undertale musical telenovela that's been airing as it's being performed on stage. like it exactly follows the story of undertale. and i've been excited for this episode because i've been keeping up with it but strangely not a single installment of this broadway musical telenovela that's released on stage has had a song yet. tumblr's been speculating it's going to go to toriel for weeks to mixed excitement because it's tumblr

the first song is sung. and it's one of those tongue-in-cheek "ugh i can't believe i'm doing this *starts singing*" numbers that happens usually halfway through a musical with the characters who hate the idea of singing/musicals. and who, you may ask, does this number go to?

vriska serket.

vriska serket from homestuck waltzes onto the stage, goes "ugh, i can't believe i'm doing this", and starts singing about sgurb. on the third episode of the Undertale musical telenovela.

so naturally as i'm watching the episode on my phone i open up tumblr, who is collectively losing it. not over vriska being in the Undertale musical telenovela, but because she got the first song. there's debates, people are calling the poor woman playing vriska names, the internet is just all devolving into chaos over this.

so i get on discord voice call with my friends and start telling them about the musical. one of them hadn't been keeping up with it because he knew it would be ass and the other was blissfully unaware. so i'm telling them the plot of the musical and i get to vriska and the vc just. erupts into chaos. friend who knew it would be ass is shouting, other friend is laughing hysterically, friend who always joins vc to lurk pauses hollow knight to go "WHAT" in all caps in the cat.

oh, and the news broadcast the telenovela episode interrupted was about virginia seceding from the usa

i don't see a lot of these two interacting... but then again i've had to stay out of hollow knight tags in general because i'm NOWHERE NEAR DONE WITH THE SEQUEL! but i can draw these two being silly together forever. if LK had the chance it'd stay in holly's cloak forever and never leave... see my visions...

Speaking of theatre class improv games, one time the prompt was “you are vegetables in the fridge talking about life” and one of the people in the scene claimed to be a cucumber that accidentally got a tan under the fridge lightbulb and for some reason the teacher got annoyed at that as if that’s not the funniest thing she’d ever heard.
