In Defense of My Best Girl Maki Nishikino

I love Maki so much! So honestly, I felt the need to defend this chick.

Reasons for being hated: not as cute as the other girls, tsundere, not cute or kawaii, has a deep voice unlike most of the girls, boring, no personality

Not as cute as the other girls

I personally think she’s the cutest, in my opinion!

Tsundere

At least she’s a well written Tsundere! And she’s not abusive like other tsunderes. Though TBH, I prefer tsunderes over yanderes, even though I like both.

Not Cute or Kawaii

Tell me how? I think she’s cute! Especially in this gif!

Has A Deep Voice Unlike Most of the Girls

Then I guess Rin Hoshizora, Eli Ayase, and Umi Sonoda all have high pitched voices then. Right? Wrong. Maki isn’t the only Love Live girl to have a high pitched voice.

Boring/ No Personality

Oh, so being a tsundere, believing in Santa, being somewhat naive, stubborn, and an antisocial loner = no personality?

Nope. Sounds like a personality to me.

In conclusion, Maki isn’t such a bad character. And in my opinion, she’ll always be the best girl in Love Live!
