It is difficult to prevent corruption if the term CORRUPTION is not thoroughly understood. It is just like having cancer ailment. You cannot give proper address to this disease if you failed to identify what type of cancer it is. In the same manner, to label blandly anything as corruption won't make any sense at all.

We say that any corrupt behavior is wrong, but how are we going to address this problem appropriately if we are not certain how to deal with it due to lack of basic information? This is our challenge. We must learn to distinguish types of corruption which are the following:

Systemic corruption

Sporadic (individual) coSystemic corruptionrruption

Political (Grand) corruption

Grand corruption

Petty corruption

Legal and moral corruption

After you identify these types of corruption, the next step is to see why there is corrupton. What motivates people to engage in this wrongdoing? Does honesty lost its essence in this present trend of time? It cannot be because this is the only way to live life without mental tortures due to deceptions and lies.

In most cases, corruption takes place as it is perceived to be an easy way to enjoy whatever you want. There is more convenience to satisfy your needs which oftentimes start with bribing others to do what you want. This in reality is quite observable in people who are in politics, police force, and judiciary. Bribery in these areas is overwhelming because they can render protection to the offender from being punished due to unlawful conducts and transactions.

There is only one potential reason why bribery able to crawl upon trusted agencies as mentioned above---the love of money. Poverty is not a reason to do wrong or cheat others like corruption, rather the greediness that dominates in a person.
