"Peter gets snapped to the DC universe" "Peter gets isekai'd to the DC universe" blah blah blah BORING, give me freshly revived Jason Todd isekai'd to the marvel universe (not specifically the MCU). This poor, traumatized, paranoid boy accidentally terrorizing criminals and scaring the general public. His mind is fractured, caught between his passion of what was once being Robin and helping people and the overwhelming anger and trauma of dying then being brought back to life.

His nightly appearances have other New York vigilantes like worried about a young man beating the shit out of common criminals (Classic batfamily move: Brain Damage and outrageous hospital bills) (punisher finds this hilarious, he'd never admit it though). There's a lot of rumors and theories about this aggressive nighttime ass beater, about whether or not it's a mutant, or a new vigilante, a possible antihero, JJJ post an article about how he thinks it's just spider-man

One night Peters talking to Miles about it and how they need to find this guy before it turns from maiming criminals to hurting civilians, and Miles recognizes the guy from the vague description and he's just like "Oh you mean Jason" and Peter's like "Who???" Then Miles just lore dumps on Peter how he regularly finds Jason on random parts of the city while he's patrolling and sometimes buys bro a sandwich and a drink. They're pretty friendly even when Jason doesn't talk much, Miles tries to redirect Jason towards shelters or F.E.A.S.T but knows that sometimes bro won't listen and go out to beat ass. So Miles just kinda supervises his ass beatings to make sure he doesn't go to far

maybe stop painting miles 42 as an evil and sinister miles and paint him more like an emotionally repressed miles, considering the differences between his and 1610 miles' universes.

i mean, there's no spider-man in his universe. and the only other hero he could've possibly looked up to is dead. the city's overrun by villains composed of the usual spidey rogues gallery with little to oppose them. not exactly the same new york where another miles would usually be out sticker bombing and expressing himself through art.

miles 42's day probably consists of doing his best to help his mom, helping his uncle, and combating the sinister six cartels. i doubt he has time for anything else.

People forget that when we first see him, he doesn't know what miles is. All he knows os that someone that looks like him broke into his home and talked to his mother and uncle. He probably thought that he was an clone and that his enemies found out his identity.

So of course he acts "sinister and evil" to match the energy around him and not show weakness.

Thought, i do imagine that both Miles are very similar. Just that Miles G hrew more to be like Jeff, whilst spider miles is more like Aaron.

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but if they ever have Miles appear in a future film aged up I really hope they don't change anything about his physique or make him bigger or anything. Same thing with Miles G. Like I know everyone wants him to shoot up to Uncle Aaron's height and build, but I really like his lanky "baby deer" build. it's become a very iconic part of Miles' design to me also I kiiiinda find it just a little unrealistic when teenage characters in media--especially animation--get sized up dramatically when they're aged up to young adulthood. I don't know, I mean, whenever I see a photo of myself from when I was 15-16 I look almost exactly the same. Same with my cousins. And yes, I know there's been some cases where an aged up design looks even better than the teen one, but in the case of spiderverse i like how these two bugs look

In my opinion, Miles should get the speed/agility and stealth build, instead if that buff strength build.

Sure, he has all the spider-base abilities, but what really makes him special is his cloaking ability and the electrokinesis.

I think that it also (as addition) has to do with the bastardsatzion of the found family trope.

Characters are stripped of their character traits in favor of pushing them into a role that they aren't.

This also leads to the nuances of the relationships to disappear.

Characters can't really have the mentor&mentee, teacher&student, and normal friendships anymore without them being seen as family.

This also leads to romantic relationships suffering under it.

Like Miles had that moment in the movie of "yikes. Hobie is really cool and I shouldn't hate on him for being close to Gwen". This is great grounds for any kind of relationship, both platonic and romantic.

But due to the whole "the spiderlings are a FAMILY", racism, biphobia and misinformation about hobies age, people got pushed out of the Fandom and were labeled proshippers, what lead to many works getting deleted.

Also, only pushing the "big brother Hobie " point is pretty weird, considering that he is more of the "rebellious character showing the MC a different way from what they know.

Like yes. Sibling relationships come in many different facettes. But oh man. This ain't it...

(Also, hobie being the one teen of the spiderlings to be adultified is really telling in my opinion. The same people probably think that Pav is the youngest. )
