That's heartbreaking, tbh. Correct, but heartbreaking. And I've seen it in how I watch Mr. CBC interact with his friends, versus how I've seen many Black men interact with theirs. My husband is very physically affectionate with his bros, they hug and talk and say I love you, and they're good. That affectionate, that love, boys and men get taught that those are feminine attributes and things that women are supposed to do for them, which ends up making them feel bitter and resentful bc YEAH you DO need those things!! But you can get them from each other!! It doesn't have to be "gay" or "girly" to love your brother- and God knows they could use the love.
