something something lestat being physically and sexually assaulted every episode this season and the focus on his body and sex and the exploitation of both while, for the most part, no one has really appreciated his artistry or cared about the emotional turmoil he's going through—all culminating in the finale where his head and his body are literally separated, miles apart from each other, and his head is never shown (though we're inside it) and the only shot of his body is when another character is, essentially, molesting it.
