≫ HAI HAI !!! first time posting my personal headcanons on here ESPECIALLY about tickling .... as you can tell based off of my profile alone i am so very incredibly passionate about lace she is everything to me and a whole lot more so this is a complete joy for me to FINALLY make .... before we start, kindly scroll away and do not interact with this post if you view tickling in an nsfw manner, or if you view it as a kink, even if its sfw. it personally makes me viscerally uncomfortable and i do not tolerate it in any way, shape or form. i am a minor, and i wish to keep up with internet safety laws and the likes. if you reblog this, please please PLEASE for the love of god dont tag this with regular fandom stuff ... its a personal thing, i am quite scared of attention especially from people that dont view tickling in the way that i do or in a negative way .... also some of these headcanons are very long or quite short so i apologize in advance for the inconsistency, and most of them are lee leaning .... ➸ she is a lee - leaning switch [ 80 / 20 ].
➸ lace doesnt have a primary ler / lee. hell, she rarely even gets tickled or tickles somebody because she has to ask for it, but if it were to be anyone itd most likely be either hornet or shakra.
➸ lace is extraordinarily soft to the touch, like the texture of a rose petal or the smoothest of silk. and she absolutely despises it. her softness only reminds her of her mothers expectations that she couldnt live up to. she sees herself as a child spun mad. yet, she finds some form of joy when it comes to the concept of tickling.
➸ she sees most of her tickle sessions as a challenge she has to conquer. she wrestles, play fights, kicks her legs, even attempts to grab at her pin on occasion, but always makes herself lose on purpose.
➸ id imagine that shes a BIG fan of rib counting ... it feels delightful for her to do to a bug, sometimes she even acts as if shes killing a pilgrim as she does it.
➸ her mother spun her outer shell to be nothing but flawless, but her inner shell is quite a mess. her nerves are unnaturally cluttered everywhere due to her mother being unable to weave innards properly. due to this, most of her supposed death spots are "unnatural" to a normal bugs anatomy, and in very few places, she cannot feel any touch at all.
➸ speaking of her spots .. i personally do not believe that theres a spot in the "middle range" for her. she is slightly ticklish almost everywhere, and quite literally cannot seem to catch a break.
➸ oohhh shes a HEAVY squealer and snorter and all other things lovely .. normally she keeps her laughter short out of insecurity, but thats literally impossible for her to achieve for her when, for example, someone drags a claw tip across the length of her palm .. or someone digs their claws into the joint of her hips .. or someone presses their thumb against the back of her neck ... or someone squeezes the back of her knees .... orYOU GET THE POINT
➸ shes the type of switch to get incredibly jittery whenever the topic of tickling is mentioned around her. even hearing just the word can cheer her up a considerable amount, but shed obviously never admit to that ....
➸ considering that she is very soft, she is also cold to the touch, due to her not having "skin" to keep herself warm. heat radiates from her silk heart at times, but she usually sunbathes to gather up heat.
➸ if she doesnt put up a fight, shes an incredible squirmer. its nearly impossible to keep her in one position without holding her in place or have some kind of limb pinning involved.
➸ she can be a very cunning ler at times .. she sees her tickling someone back as revenge or a "rematch", and she can easily hold an iron grip due to her fencing skills, so you can imagine the rest ....
➸ she often offers to tickle others to cheer them up whenever they look upset, though shes too stubborn to admit to that .... ouh joyful girl ..... she teases them about it the whole time
➸ she first learnt about tickling via phantom [ who wouldve guessed ], since they used to be a great ler before they eventually got sent to the exhaust organ when lace grew older in age.
if you notice any inconsistencies with her character and how she acts, please pls pls do tell ... i love hearing others impressions of her and wish to learn more about her character !!!! obviously you dont have to, i only feel as if this is a liiittle off / mischaracterized and then some 😓 i think i mightve nailed it on a majority scale tho
