This isn’t necessarily how I read canon, but I do think an interesting way you could tell the story of FNV would be if the Courier died when Benny shot them. They’re already dead, and so are the people that accompany them (all the companions could have plausible reasons for having already died). Benny gets chased across the desert by an angry, vengeful spirit and their followers who never need to rest, and can show up no matter where he goes

We all laugh (rightfully) at r/falloutlore type people acting like wastelanders wouldn't know fuck all (remember calendars?) but what the fuck do dudes born into the Legion not know about. I feel like that expands the range of things quite far in fact.
Fallout conspiracy theory: Most of the skeletons in funny poses were placed like that by bored wastelanders long after the war.
I'd like to think it's a collaborative process. One wanderer puts the skeleton on an old beach chair. Later, another wanderer sees it, chuckles, and gives the skeleton a sunhat. Another one gives it a martini glass with an umbrella. And so on.

If most of the cars in the fallout series use microfusion cells/ fusion cores would boats? I guess? All the boats look like normal fucking boats and not retro-futuristic like the cars. There’s also no weird in-depth lore about like the car companies and manufacturer plants in game for boats. Fo4 would’ve been perfect for stupid ass boat lore but nope.
