Some of you know that I’ve been going through some rough times because of my parents’ divorce last year and right now things are taking a turn for the worse. I really hate ranting this kind of things, but right now my mom and I are going through stress because my dad hasn’t given us “my” pension...

Glyph necklace and earrings based on ThatGameCompany’s Journey! A project I’ve had finished since early 2012 but, since it was a birthday/Christmas surprise for someone, had to keep quiet on it until now. All 3D modeled in Maya, then printed courtesy of Shapeways. The necklace is their matte gold steel (reminded me of the sand, couldn’t resist), and the earrings are done in sterling silver. Could go on about how fascinating their printing processes are, especially for getting silver done, but they explain it all better than I do on their website!

Also my first time trying my hand at jewellery photography. Not easy stuff! Need to step up my lighting game…and maybe learn how to properly polish silver.

((Please excuse me, but the hamsa can be used by jews, muslims and also christians so if anyone wants to wear it or use it properly, you should know that the hamsa is a sign of protection against evil.

Regardless of religion, it's actually ok to use a hamsa. At least you know its true meaning without just mindlessly thinking that it's just an accessory you could put anywhere.. so to anyone who isn't jewish, muslim or christian, please wear the hamsa appropriately without making it look disrespectful towards others!!

And also, don't always be rude and blame things on white people all the time. It's not nice :T  -Mod))
