i still don't really understand the affection for persona 5. It's got more hallway and less agency than ff13, and the characters reject the call to adventure every stupid mission. "Oh our teacher is an abusive perv. Ok." They had to wait for an attempted suicide to go "oh wait maybe a student teacher relationship is wrong??" But even then they don't really stick to their guns.

The tech-oligarchs all follow the Peter Thiel philosphy that there must be climate change, there must be food shortages, and that the world is overpopulated so the only way to fix things is have mass die-offs (of humans).
