ive been in an epic mood so ive been listening to the whole thing over and over and i have so little criticism except for how they handle poseidon
i get wanting to humanize the gods but also… theyre GODS. “it’s been 10 years, aren’t you tired?” thats NOTHING to him. “we’ve both lost” what has poseidon lost? you disrespected him and you didn’t even kill his son, that’s the whole Point. he actually gains by killing you bc you living pisses him off
and a mortal??? beating a god??? IN A 1V1??? absolutely not. not even just that, poseidon begging after a little bit of torture? please be SO real, gods have done worse to mortals for a little bit of fun. the most i could see is him being like Fine, Go but step into the water again and i’ll hunt your bloodline for generations

odysseus beating poseidon in a fight specifically pisses me off bc its not even in his main strength: tactics. odysseus is at the disadvantage actually, nearly being drowned literally moments before
in the myths, mortals have only bested gods in their master crafts/talents. odysseus is a good warrior but his notable prowess is his MIND. he’s not the best physical fighter among his peers why the FUCK would he beat a god
