Daniel Santos Relationship Chart

🔨Momo Yaoyorozu: Her defeat to Tokoyami took its toll on her mood and self-esteem. Daniel found her alone, sitting on a ladder in one of the stadium's corridors. He did not hesitate to spend the rest of the time he had before fighting at the festival to comfort her. Daniel told Momo that he had already known the pain of failure, even though he had tried his best. But his friends had supported him and encouraged him to move on. Thus, Daniel said he would always support Momo, and her defeat would not change how much her friends admired her. He also said he admired how humble she is, despite getting in through recommendations, remembering she was one of the first people to talk to him when they joined the UA. Daniel finished by calling her a genius, since she could memorize the structure of many objects/materials to properly use her Quirk. Daniel’s words warmed Momo's heart and lifted her spirit. They’ve been great friends since.
🦎 Setsuna Tokage: The confident and provocative girl from class 1-B is known for being a dinosaur enthusiast. One day, Setsuna took part in a virtual quiz from the Musutafu Historical Museum, about the Jurassic Era, to win awards and tickets to visit the museum. Much to her surprise, she ended up being defeated — by one point — by a participant user named @kenbetterryu. The greenie was disappointed that she lost in something that she loves and and knows so well. Some time later, Tokage discovered — ironically through Bakugou— that Daniel is also a dinosaur fan. Even more shocking: he was the mysterious @kenbetterryu who beat her on that quiz. Daniel showed her several notebooks he had made, containing photos and notes describing the characteristics of all dinosaurs cataloged in History. Setsuna fell in love with his notes and wanted to read them at all costs. However, everything was in Portuguese, and she couldn’t read a single word. She then asked Daniel to read them to her. From this point on, they became very close friends, and even found out more shared interests.
🐦 Fumikage Tokoyami: Daniel and Fumikage’s Quirks are sun and moon-related, respectively. While Daniel gets stronger during daytime by absorbing solar energy, Tokoyami's Dark Shadow gets stronger after sunset and without direct sunlight. Their relationship began at the Sports Festival, when they faced each other for a third-place spot. After an exciting battle, the Brazilian came out as a winner, boosted by the sunny weather that afternoon. However, even at a disadvantage, Tokoyami fought bravely. Both recognized each other's efforts and began a friendly rivalry. From then on, they trained together, and later formed a partnership. They would fight for each other in opposite settings: bright sunny days that favored Daniel, when Dark Shadow would be weaker, and evenings or cloudy days when Tokoyami struggled a bit more, while Sunboost would be at a disadvantage.
⚡ Denki Kaminari: Denki and Daniel became fast friends when they met. Kaminari's energetic personality perfectly matched Daniel's friendly demeanor. They worked out so well that, when fighting a gigantic robot, they joined Quirks to create a combined Ultimate Move. By combining the electrification of Chargebolt with Ilu-Ayê's Guaraci Ball, they created an electric-solar sphere they named Guaraci Ball: Chargebolt Mode.
