I'm seeing people on this post who think that what I'm saying is, "Write out of order, starting with the things you enjoy most." And while that's fine advice, it's not actually what I said.

What I said was, "Only write the thing that's fun, and don't write the rest."

Write one shots. Write drabbles. Write ficlets. If you have 5 interesting scenes but you can't figure out how to tie them together into a fic, then write 5 separate ficlets, post them in a series, and when you get another idea for that series just plop it right in there and rearrange the works into the right order.

You don't have to write longfic to write fanfic.

finally realized i should get around to doing other flags as peyote stitch kandi cuffs so heres the first ones i posted like. 4 months or so ago now, plus the others so far. i’ll probably do more, but i’m unsure as to what else at this point. forgive the slightly uneven color distribution on the gilbert baker rainbow, the pattern didn’t divide into 8 equal parts so i had to just kind of mess with the stripes until it Kind Of worked out ): these all may need adjustments depending on the size of your wrist, but hopefully these patterns may give you a rough idea how many of each color of bead you’ll need. the instructions at the bottom may be a little confusing, i apologize for that

oops its been like 2 years but finally a followup to my other peyote stitch cuff post of flags (in which i got the LGB and T but nothing else) changed up the format because i think my old instructions weren’t very good, they exist on like every picture on the other post if you REALLY want them, but its likely just simpler and more comprehensible to use a peyote stitch video tutorial (this is the one i used originally to figure it out, but there’s multiple others on youtube if you just type in peyote stitch bracelet) might do more, hopefully not with 2 years in between again though this time (thinking about demiboy/-girl flags, unsure what others to map out also though)
