I think that Squilf being as toxic as Bramble is absolute malarky. I've heard people claim that her crying is guilt-tripping, and that a rebound relationship is manipulative. Bullshit. Squilf has her flaws, yes, overly strong-headed (a double-edged sword), judgemental at times, but she also has conviction, she stands up for what she believes is right and can be open-minded. Yes, she didn't tell Bramble about the Three, his upsettedness was understandable but not an excuse for how he treated her. Their relationship was never going to work out because they just couldn't trust each other, both of them. I don't think Squilf had much reason to after how he had acted and I don't think people should expect her to just trust Bramble after that. Love is not what makes a relationship work. Love is not the answer. I needed to get this off my shoulders.
