It was the second test that really sunk things for her. Those two little blue lines, one in the square box and one in the round one really sealed things. She was in the Ailuin’s dorm bathroom when she took the test and she just as easily cast it into the trashcan beside the toilet. It really shouldn’t have been a surprise to her, she and Ailuin had been having unprotected sex for months, she just sort of supposed that the odds of her actually getting pregnant were slim. Nobody ever accused her or Ailuin of being smart.

Glasha stepped out of the bathroom and it was there that she saw Ailuin laying on his bed, half awake and naked. His chest rose and fell in a soft, but steady rhythm. She walked across the room and over to him. 

“Ailuin,” said Glasha, summoning her courage. “Before you ask if I’m sure, I took two tests. I’m pregnant.” 

The elf’s black eyes went wide and he sat up with a jolt. His lips started to form the statement, ‘Are you sure,’ but froze on the first abortive syllable. He stood up and wrapped Glasha in a hug and to his surprise, she returned it. 

“We’re going to have to abort it,” said Glasha. 

Ailuin nodded of course they were going to have to. They were both busy professionals. Or at least as professional as someone technically unemployed and a barista could be. Gosh, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen Brew-thulu’s Coffee Shop, right?

“Is that what you want?” asked Ailuin, pulling away to look into her eyes, so full and so green. 

“Yeah, I’m not cut out to be a mom right now…If ever,” said Glasha. 

“And I’m not in any position to be a father,” said Ailuin.  “But…That being said, I think a kid would be pretty lucky to have you for a mom.” 

Glasha smirked. “Don’t try to butter me up, glowworm. I think I’m already sold on the abortion.” 

“I know…but if you change your mind in like five years, I wouldn’t be opposed to us trying again,” said Ailuin. “What do we do from here?” 

“From here, I’m going to go to the nearest clinic…and you are going to go get dressed up for your real job at Brew-Thulu’s,” said Glasha. 

Ailuin rolled his eyes, an action that was imperceptible because of his obsidian eyeballs, but he was aware of the action. “Must I? That place is awful.” 

“I know, but OnlyFans can’t pay all the bills…and we might have to take a break from that for a little bit,” said Glasha. 

“You’re right,” said Ailuin. “Unless…Do you want to do one quick video for them to get off to before the hiatus?” 

“Sure,” said Glasha. “Why not?”
