When the monsters expanded, some decided to stay in the Ruins, finding comfort in the places the humans wouldn't reach.

Happy Halloween (Update)!

So it's been a hot minute since we last left Kris, Susie and Noelle in Upper Snowdin for the Deltatraveler X Undertale Yellow crossover as Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 took up a lot of creative time for a ton of us and now we're partying with Jackenstein for Halloween every year going forward (seriously, there's at least three dozen Dark Zone covers from this month alone). But now it's time to get back into what I've been doing the whole time.

For starters, Windows 10 support ended a few weeks ago and I went and bought new computer parts, meaning this still-functional computer will be put to rest when I make the transition to the new computer...which is currently a hesitation as Windows 11 news have people questioning their move. Lots and LOTS of PC breaking updates have me GREATLY concerned...

Secondly, and more importantly was that I mentioned before how I already had several pages of the crossover already finished and ready to upload when I returned. ...then I discovered the text box generator that I get my dialogue from updated and now nothing matches, meaning I have to do a lot of re-rendering. This of course was a massive demotivator and why I haven't done this comic in a long while.

Meanwhile, I still envisioned two upcoming comics. One is for my next birthday in March and the other is yet another Crossover: Deltarune X Deltarune Yellow. Still deciding if Kris will still have one or both arms for when that happens. Here's an early WIP page with a waist-jacket Susie sprite from @pen--pun.

The former's just a little treat for myself and already has a fully made map that I made myself with several custom sprites.

So yeah, lots of things on my mind and needing to drag myself out of the mud again. That's all I got for this update post. Thanks for reading and I'll catch you next time. Happy Halloween!

Ever since Deltarune released, Kris has been the subject of controversy and bad faith interpretations. Chapter 3 and 4 only fanned the flames, as people have grown to see them as a pure villain. I'd like to challenge that perspective with a more nuanced perspective, shedding light on their inner conflict.

So many theories, but ironically we're still tugging this poor kid around physically and metaphorically on what they're doing and what they want.
