Interdimensional Transport of Omega Timeline
Voider is a type of transportational vehicles that is capable of safe travel through the interdimensional Void.
Voiders were invented in Omega Timeline, under the Council X's guidance.
Voiders were meant for flights between the Timelines, Worlds and Universes.
15×5×4 for the fuselage, 7.5×0.5×3 for the wings - in meters.
50×15×12.5, 25×1.5×10 - in feet.
There are many different types of Voiders, but most of the time they have an elongated, flattened on its ends, fuselage, with wide wings.
Open Cockpit is made of glass and extends beyond the fuselage. Due to the lack of armor, such a cockpit uses most of the energy of the Voider's shields. However, it provides a better view for the pilot, while also allowing the use of magical, optical and electromagnetic observational devices.
Closed Cockpit is located inside of the fuselage. The smaller the cockpit and the deeper it is inside the fuselage, the more protection can be provided to the pilot. Due to the lack of a direct view, the pilot has to rely entirely on observational devices.
The Voider plating is always dark purple, because it consists of Voidan, an enchanted composite material consisting of layers of Nitinol (nickel-titanium alloy that has shape memory), Unicum (high-strength gold-nickel-copper alloy), high-carbon chromium-vanadium steel, and also copper vacuum nano-tubes. The structure of this material and the magic used in it, allow it to withstand the destructive effects of the Void.
Voiders consist of different structural elements that have their own purposes.
Cockpit is the mainframe of the Voider. The controls for every and each system on the board are here.
Tech Unit is a place where all of the most important elements of the Voider are gathered. Energy Sources, Info-Mass Converters, ID-Portal tech, Shield Generators, Software, etc.
Engine is a thrust unit that allows the Voider to move in space. If a special fuel is needed, it may be contained in the same segment as the Engine or in a Tech Unit.
Weapons Bay is a place that contains the weaponry of the Voider, including its ammunition.
Storage Unit is a place that contains the cargo that the Voider may carry, including the landing troops.
Radiator is an active cooling system that works in two modes, depending on the environment. In the atmosphere, radiators use convection, but in the vacuum they switch to use the irradiation.
Armor Unit is an armored segment.
Every model of any structural element of the Voiders has its own name that describes its purposes, version and main functions.
Abbreviation that describes main characteristics of the model. Most of the time consists of the first letters of words used in the name of the structural element.
IDTS-E - Impulse-Diffusion Thermonuclear Synthesis Engine
Numeric or literal value that describes the progress that was achieved by the developers of the structural element while updating the old versions or creating a new technology.
Version is written in arabic numerals if it's just an updated version with unnoticeable(most of the time) changes in the technology.
Version is written in roman numerals if the amount of symbols in it is less or equal to the amount of symbols in the arabic number.
Version is written in greek letters if the version has some properties that stand out of the rest.
α - Alpha - First Version.
Ω - Omega - Last Version.
Δ - Delta - Description of a generation which the version was developed in. With every new generation, Δ gets marked with a corresponding number. Versions can be counted from the first generation but most of the time the counter resets every time the new generation gets developed(Δ gets marked in this example). Version Δ replaces versions α and Ω for separate generations. Nevertheless, Δ1 can't be used instead of α.
Σ - Sigma - Version that is significantly Changed, Unstable, Experimental or isn't Tested thoroughly.
Ξ - Xe - Version that uses technology that was invented in another universe and is undeveloped in Omega Timeline.
δ and γ - Beta and Gamma - Optional prefixes. They are written before the version numbers.
β - Underpowered version.
γ - Overpowered version.
* - Asterisk - Optional postfix. It is written after the version numbers. Asterisk means that the model was fine-tuned. The changes are very small, almost undetectable.
Prefixes and postfixes may be used together, but only to some extent. Using Σ would be much more preferable.
Δ7-87 - Gen 7, Version 87 - (let's say that other generations had 100 versions each) Version 787
βα - Underpowered Version 1
Ω* - Last Version, Fine-tuned
Configurations split the space inside of the Voider into segments which contain structural elements. The more there are segments, the less there is space for each. That decreases the efficiency of configuration. Abundance of free space is harmful for the efficiency, too. The need for balance of space inside of the Voider led to the invention of standart configurations for the Voiders of specific types.
Triple Segment - High-Velocity
Configuration that is mostly used in the structure of Light-class scouts, interceptors or bombers. Constructional decisions let the dimensions and weight of the craft to shrink, and that positively affects overall maneuverability. That configuration is the only one which sets the preferred energy source as a capacitor, not a reactor. That is caused by a lack of radiational shielding that protects pilots and crew from reactor's radiation(not every reactor emits radiation though).
