Damn. She did everything right. Yes, this is dangerous. But even a violent man is still human and can be outplayed. Predators rely on a pattern or routine. Disrupt the routine, and the predator freezes up. Once you disrupt them, don't give them time to develop a response. Be bold. Be decisive. Talk loud. Act fast.
How should I approach this as a man? I wouldn’t want to make her more uncomfortable but I also wouldn’t be able to physically intimidate anyone because I’m short and un-athletic.
Talking to the woman is going to be hit or miss, just because she won't know if you are an "out if the frying pan, into the fire" situation. BUT, you could still go with "thanks for waiting, you ready to go? Oh, who's this?" And if she walks with you, you can say that she looked uncomfortable. I had a guy once ask if I could help with his phone to get me away from a conversation. OR: talk to the dude. "Hey man, can you give me directions to this place? Don't I know you from somewhere?" Etc. Then she has time to escape. There are no set in stone answers, even if you don't handle it perfect, if she gets out of the situation safely, count it as a win

One of my colleagues spotted a woman facing slightly away from a man who was talking to her, who was scary close. She looked uncomfortable and made eye contact. He noticed the guy was wearing a Broncos jacket and nonchalantly passed them both by and started the sports speak to the dude, like "aw bro did you see the defense last night? Hell of a time to he a Bronco fan, right?" And stood slightly behind the guy so he had to turn away from the woman. She said a cheeky "I'm not into sports, g'night!" comment and slipped away to the elevator. The dude looked super pissed but just stalked away to his car.
What was he supposed to do, admit to bad intentions?

One of my favorite BBC Merlin plotlines will forever be that the Fomorroh is supposed to make Merlin more homicidal but mostly it just makes him gayer.
I mean:
-the jealousy over Arthur
-the body language
-the absolute SHADE

I have this theory that in the Merlinverse when people get enchanted (like Arthur, Merlin, Gwen, Uther and Vivian) it’s not so much that their personality changes but that the enchantment in question control their conscience and free will by making a compulsion to do something, and so they don’t have the focus to worry about speaking their minds or acting like their normal selves. Gwen is an interesting case because even if she has changed because of the magic, she can still act like always and plot against Arthur and Merlin, which says a lot about her real acting skills and her cunning.
Arthur was enchanted like three times I think (1st with Sofia, then with Vivian in season 2, and then at the end of s4 when we got simpleton!Arthur) and all never on those occasions was something fundamental about him changed. With the love magic, he was hipperfocused on the love interest, but he still acted like himself with other people, specially with Merlin who, even with Arthur under the influence, remains his confidant, unofficial friend and love counselor. Simpleton!Arthur, I’m guessing, simply got stripped of his ego, his outward personality and free will, but the rest of it was still him, and it shows.
So I totally agree that fomorrah!Merlin was what Merlin would be like if he was unburdened by *gestures* destiny and the ban of magic and everything, which you can kind of confirm in s5, because that’s the season where we see more instances of Merlin not giving a fuck.

I dont really care if you use the term bisexual or pansexual, but what i DO care about is that you understand that bisexuality at NO stage in history was EVER trans-exclusionary. Bisexuality has always included trans folks, and non-binary folks, and the entire spectrum of gender between male and female, as well as Definitively Gender and agender. It has ALWAYS meant "attraction to more than one gender." It has NEVER meant "attraction to cis men and women only."
So, pan, bi, use whichever label you will. But do NOT buy into the recent-years innacurate concept that bisexuality is attraction to cis men and women only, because thats literally never been the case.

bi colours = "same gender, opposite gender, and other genders"
pan colours = "men, women, and nb people."
Those two things are...... not all that different to each other.
The purple has always, literally since the flag was created, meant "more genders."
And bisexuality included "more genders" in the definition before the bi flag was created, too. Thats why they included the purple bar in the first place, because it was reflective of bisexual people's attraction to and relationship with gender.
If you feel that pansexual suits you better, or you like the pan flag more, then thats fine -- but don't spread the misconception that bisexuality is remotely exclusionary. Because its literally never been.

I’m totally on board with this except I think Sokka is an actual, full-fledged member of the White Lotus, and he also doesn’t realize that.
The White Lotus kept inviting him to meetings, and he showed up and assumed they were just humoring his interest. His initiation was much the same; he’s dead certain that they just gave him a robe and made him part of the ceremony to “feel included”. And he’s super touched by the way they keep inviting him to those meetings and even seem interested in what he has to say! Sometimes (a lot of times, actually, but he doesn’t even notice that) they even use his ideas!
They’re really cool people, those White Lotus guys. Sokka thinks it would be pretty awesome to be a part of their group.
