Cait Oppermann - Tangier in pastels, Morocco, 2012.
I recently unearthed this photo from a stack of negatives that I haven’t touched since I scanned the film that would become Sea Blues. I really love this one, though. Tangier is not a peaceful city on the ground, but from above it can be actually quite serene.

Women should dress for themselves, and eventually for other women, and only then maybe also for a handful of men. But they must step out of this outrageously sexed-up hell of signifiers; if they don’t, this junk will make them lose their self-respect. I advocate understatement. Search for subtlety, dare to pass as someone reserved, refuse the stereotypes of sexiness. That way, you will spread fever only where it deserves to be.

"[Noise is] inspired by the theoretic work of George Berkeley and basics of synesthetic perception. It’s a game of imagination provoked by sound. Individual sounds penetrating into the apartment of the main character relieved of their visual designates evoke images distant from its origins."
Workers at the Louvre Museum, Paris, by Pierre Jahan in 1947
