26.10.20 -Ā the fifth consecutive day of protests against PolandāsĀ courtās near-total ban on abortion.
they follow a ruling by Polandās Constitutional Court that abortions, even in cases of foetal defects, are illegal.
it means that abortion is now only valid in cases of rape or incest.
the fight is about the right to choose.
Band of Brothers - 1x03 āCarentanā

Iām glad they at least let us know that theyāre happy with us, after we got dragged halfway across the world to fight an insane German with a God complex. Makes it all worth it.
hey! 10, 11, + 26 for the ask?
Hey love!
10.Ā most enjoyable swear word in your native language?
Hmmm I donāt really know, I kind of donāt swear in my native language because I mostly use it only with my fam, but I do often use the word Š±Š»ŃŠ½/blin which is like an equivalent of damn but also means pancake??? UA explain??
11. favourite native writer/poet?
Iām actually trying to get back into Ukrainian literature and get more appreciation for the books I read at school and there are definitely some gems among them. If to choose one I would name Ivan Bahrianyi off the top of my head because of his novel Tiger TrappersĀ
26. does your nationality get portrayed in Hollywood/American media? what do you think about the portrayal?
yikes. YIKES. So we have two very distinctive roles in the American media: Ukrainian men are most often terrorists or drug dealers and Ukrainian women are either straight prostitutes or mail brides looking for a western husband. Oh and donāt get me started on the butchered accent, the funniest thing is when Ukrainians are portrayed by Americans themselves (Everything is Illuminated, Iām looking at you). Also we donāt glow in the dark just because Chornobyl (yes itās āoā and not āeā) happened in 1986
Thanks for the ask!Ā ā¤ļø

Just call me Helmet Girl because Iāve drawn so many helmets this year I donāt even know
and was never seen again.
my favorite thing about band of brothers is how I can watch it over and over again and absorb absolutely nothing about military movements
