texting my ex dog memes but every text i send is a step closer to the ultimate 🤡 moment whenever that is.

i haven’t been on ssri’s for about 7 months now. i don’t remember what it was like to be on ssri’s so i can’t say i concretely miss it. but sometimes i feel fatalist about my life, thinking like yep this is about as good as it’s gonna get. you’ve achieved financial stability. you’ve moved to nyc and now you know what it’s like. any other big life milestone or change you want to make (marriage, job changes) from now on is a mountain to climb in the face of your parents’ overprotectiveness/fear of watching their only child make severe mistakes so what’s the point.
