look at this face though that is the face of a man who has just heard, probably for the first time, ‘i love you’ i love you in a romantic sense. not a familial sense and i love this subtle animation. his head rising, the slow realisation in his eyes, the careful smile that warms up the longer he looks at the inquisitor you can basically see him processing that phrase. she loves me she LOVES me SHE loves ME his eyes soften, he loses that slightly guarded part of himself completely he adores this woman, she feels the same the words tickle in his mouth before he says them, a breath, a slow, steadying moment, a heartbeat where he looks at her so affectionately and so gently because i did not expect to find you and you’re here and you love me. and i love you and this is the most amazing feeling and. i just really love this part of this scene. apologies for incoherant rambling
