From a size 22 to a 6.It still blows my mind at how small I am getting and how I never in my wildest dreams thought I would accomplish this.Even when I started my journey people around told me I wouldn’t last a month let alone the two years this journey has taken.Sure proved all those mother fuckers wrong 💪
Day 31: A full month down! When I re-started my fitness journey it was never to change how I look I’m doing this now to get stronger and for my mental health and to get myself back into a routine. However now a full month has past I thought it would be interesting to do a side by side pic.
It absolutely kills me to have these pictures on the internet, which is why tumblr is seeing them first (no worries about people I interact with everyday seeing them).
my body is a work in progress. i’ve got rolls. and stretch marks. and extra skin. i was fat. i’m still fat. but nine months and 85 pounds later, i’m feeling a lot better. i’m nowhere near perfect, but.. i’m happy.
so i’d like to blog about my weight loss! open and honest discussion. have any questions/concerns/comments? i’m here.
Here are my before & after🙌🏻 God Is good🙏🏼 Went from weighing 230 pounds down to 118 pounds in 11 months thanks to Gastric bypass surgery 🙏🏼🙌🏻😍
Okay so like I’ve only lost 12.4 pounds BUT LOOK AT MY FACE! I know I can see a difference, I don’t know if anyone else can but I definitely can! Just wanted to share this because it made me happy 😊😊

5/27/16 - 3/9/18.
The pictures from 2016 are not me at my highest weight- however, this was around the time that I started to seriously commit to fitness and changing my lifestyle. I believe that I had just begun biking, and doing circuit training videos. At the time I was struggling with depression, and had ceased my medication due to the side effects- exercise became my prescription and my relief. I still struggle today with mental illness, but thankfully I now know how to channel that negative energy into something positive!
