We like Sha Po Lang (Stars of Chaos) a lot, though Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) has to be our favorite

To sleep in a sea of stars is one of our favorite books i think!
What’s that about?
Mo Dao Zu Shi is about a man who was killed and then resurrected (kind of) and had to solve a bunch of stuff in order to continue the plot and finally marry the man he realized was crushing on him for a long time.
Sha Po Lang is… very hard to explain. It’s very political and military themed, so the language is bery technical. We’re also on book three, so we aren’t finished with it yet.
Both are our favorite genre (danmei)
its a scifi! The main character starts off on a habitability mission to a planet for the company she works for, but basically gets tangled up in a galactic war instead!
:0 Mo Dao Zu Shi sounds really interesting!! And assuming Sha Po Lang is fiction, it sounds kiind of like our top favorite book series,, it must be really good!
To Sleep in a Sea of Stars sounds very interesting. It reminds us of a book we read called “Last of Her Name”.
Sha Po Lang is a steampunk set in ancient China, so yes, it is fiction
Woah really? That's cool! The series we were thinking of is called The Poppy War trilogy, and it also takes place in an older era of China!
Oo, interesting! We looked it up and it seems very cool. We tend to read books that go further back into Chinese history, like Sha Po Lang is takes inspirations from the Tang, Ming, and Qing Dynasties while being set around the Industrial Revolution (due to its geopolitical conflicts that are heavily based on real world conflicts at the time) while also technically being in 130 BCE because the book had just established the Silk Road. Technically is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
