One of the things that really get’s me about Kendy is that Kenny really does have a lot of qualities that Wendy totally would admire and value.

-While she would have some things to say about his more perverted traits, Kenny has actually treated the girls he has been shown in relationships with really well. His crush on Kelly was as innocent as can be and while his pervert side did show more with Tammy, he was still willing to stick with her even during the Purity Ring phase, despite hating every second of it, which says a lot about how much he truly cared for her.

-He is extremely self-sacrificial. Goes well with the Tammy example above, but is a general theme with him. Dying for the sake of others is a especially big one. Sure, he knows he can’t die for good, but the pain and mental strain he would have to endure every time is something you really can’t ask of anyone and yet Kenny still does it.

-He is an amazing older brother. Wendy doesn’t have siblings of her own, but maybe she thought of what it would be like before. Either way, seeing how much Kenny adores and protects his little sister is something most would admire and Wendy is no exception.

And that’s just off the top of my head. Point is that Kenny is a good boy and I have no doubt that Wendy would recognize it.

Her lips were a lot more chapped than he expected them to be. Knowing who was behind the mask, Mysterion figured Callgirl would take better care of herself than that.

But then again…outside of this, the two superheroes hardly knew each other. Wendy usually spent time with her girlfriends, or Stan. The fact that Mysterion had wanted to kiss her at all spoke volumes about how they worked together, even if it had started off completely on accident.

He couldn’t help it though. He liked how she worked. She was smart, resourceful, and could easily take a few hits before it really showed that she was hurt. The phrase “fight like a girl” was honestly terrifying when it was used to describe Callgirl.

He smirked as he pulled his lips away from hers, hands not moving from either side of her head as he boxed her in. “I’ve always wanted to do that,” he murmured with a slightly teasing tone.
