In honor of National Poetry Month, The English Department, The Wellesley Review, Tau Zeta Epsilon, and Zeta Alpha are very excited to host Half-light: A Reading with Frank Bidart coming up next Thursday, April 23rd at 8pm at the Tau Zeta Epsilon house! We hope you will join us in a first look at Frank's forthcoming book of poetry, Half-light: Collected Poems 1965-2015 (FSG 2016). Professor Bidart is the recipient of the National Book Critics Circle Award (2014), the Bollingen Prize (2007), the Wallace Stevens Award (2000), and the Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts (1979) among many other distinctions. He currently serves as the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities in the English Department at Wellesley College. The reading will be followed by a reception also held in the TZE house. The reception is open to Wellesley College students and faculty. Wine, cheese, and other refreshments will be served!
