Why does my future depend on me I don’t like this
contrary to popular belief not everyone has an innate sense of internal gender or care to have one or seek a name for it, some people go their whole lives without questioning their occupation in one of two gender roles, but for some people, if pressed, they don’t feel that internal sense of ‘i am a woman’ or ‘i am a man’, and in that case i feel the switch over to transgender vs cisgender relies on active identification of a gender other than the one they were assigned. if someone’s like ‘idk dude I just work here’ then that’s valid
#i would describe my gender as not exactly ‘idk dude i just work here’ #more like…..when someone assumes you work somewhere that you don’t #but you know how to help them so you do it anyway #my gender is wearing a red shirt at a target
These are the best tags
A portion of people in the notes are like ‘but that makes you trans. That’s called being agender’ and another portion of people are going ‘this is how the majority of cis ppl feel and it’s NOT agender’ and personally I feel like both of them are missing the point here. Yes a lot of people identify as agender because of this feeling. Yes a lot of people with this same feeling still identify as cis. These are not mutually exclusive experiences and it doesn’t mean the agender people are secretly cis or the cis people are secretly agender. It just means they have very similar experiences of gender that they choose to conceptualize and label differently, and neither of them are mistaken or wrong to do so.
'you never read anymore, you used to love reading' and i have 200 safari tabs open. it never stopped it just got weird
fucked that you can’t fix other people especially when you really care about them. Oh so im just supposed to be there for you while you suffer. like a useless cunt gargoyle
one man's hyperfixation is another man's blocked tag
Sometimes a beloved mutual transitions and starts frequenting places you wouldn't go yourself, yk?
when your beloved mutual suddenly joins a fandom you have no interest in
My favorite part of the movie.
If you see this on your dashboard, reblog this, NO MATTER WHAT and all your dreams and wishes will come true.
Oh hey! Haven’t seen this in forever! Didn’t reblog it when it came across me before, not gonna skip it this time, I need some good vibes.
I love this meme because I think humans 10,000 years ago or 100,000 years ago would also like it
girl who started a load on laundry: I’m gonna change my life I’m gonna clean my whole house I’m gonna go on a walk
Every morning, I put on my thinking cap and my smartiepants. Unfortunately, there is no shirt that properly proclaims my intellectual abilities, so I have to go tits out
unexpectedly sexy part of the Sinners credits. we LOVE a thoroughly sourced film.
looked into the twins consultants and it turns out Coogler called up the most buckwild twins he knows, which really helps explain why Smoke and Stack are Like That
Michael B. Jordan has dual roles as twin brothers in the vampire thriller 'Sinners,' and director Ryan Coogler tells PEOPLE he hired twin co
two particular types of tags I'm noticing:
"what the hell kind of title is TWINS CONSULTANT? that's stupid why would you need a consultant for that"
"I am a twin and thank fucking christ this movie had twins consultants because most movies are really really bad at portraying twins"
Note to self, find either twins willing to consult or memoirs before writing twins.
omg i think that bell's tolling just for me :)
yesterday I had the thought "visual novel for normal people" (?) and halfway through making this image (which I thought would be really funny) I realized it was completely meaningless
I do get a little thrill when I'm reading some article and I notice a little rhetorical sleight of hand the author pulled to hide something (e.g. "in a survey, over 1000 people said X" without saying what the sample size was)
