Late reply but I was dead tired yesterday, not much better now because I woke up for hours in the night not feeling good😔 so I might be even more scatterbrained then usual.
I think it's just that, I used to read everyday and if I had the time even 2 books a day, fanfiction took over but I also struggle with focusing and getting lost inside of the story, and I think I'm just scared? Like it won't happen and I'm pre-dissapointed🤦🏻♀️
Yes exactly! Depression has made me struggle with so much and picking back up it's just in my head running it's own program... I really miss as a kid and teenager I was absorbed in whatever I read. No constant stream of thoughts interrupting.
That's why I thought the "review thing" so I have something to work towards and maybe motivate myself because I like talking lol 😂.
They are cheap ones 3 for like 2 euros? (I was thinking about the bigger ones but I still have a few empty ones of those, I thought this might be better, forcing myself to be less... Long 🤦🏻♀️ I line the bee one the most, so I won't be using that to keep it😩😩)
I did see her doing those reviews when reading, and it always seems fun. But @welp-heregoessomething is a horrible example, we were going to read a book (granted it was our "this mountain it's very high" -book, but still) and we both bailed! Couldn't even do it with teamwork😔😂
Yes I keep waiting for your art to be shared so I can spiral how bad I am😂 I really hope your find your joy back in it. And that's what I'm trying to do too work my hobbies and now reading.
I made a list but honestly, it's a lot of Jane Austen (and isn't that cheating because I've read those plenty in the past😂) and the Shannara books of Terry Brooks.
And then I thought some books about Sisi, and Greek mythology and maybe the count of Monte Cristo and Jane Eyre (but that last one is so so sad) and little women of something.
... So what am I reading? I read at least one sentence of the Elfstones of Shannara😂 I used to read those books, so I'm basically rereading, but it's been 20 years, so I don't remember everything, just big things.
