Ponyboy headcanons???

oh ABSOLUTELY i have so many in my notes app it’s kind of a problem

- he’s the kind of guy to take really long showers and just stand under the water and think until someone starts banging on the door

- it takes him a while to finish growing but when he does, he ends up taller than soda and never shuts up about it. like, he’ll hold something over sodas head and say something obnoxious like “who’s the little brother now?”

- modern pony is one of those teenagers who literally never takes his headphones off

- he’s a terrible nail biter. ik this is canon but he like absolutely destroys his nails and once he can’t bite them anymore then he chews on the skin around them

- when he was little he was the kind of kid who sat alone in the grass and picked dandelions

- he’s obsessed with christmas. he just loves the vibes so much and he loves sitting on the couch by the light of the christmas tree and reading a christmas carol and just soaking up the vibes

- he’s so gay that’s not up for debate

- he’s also autistic and that’s not up for debate either

- i feel like modern pony was a percy jackson kid and never really got into harry potter

- modern pony’s camera roll is full of sunset pictures

Outsiders Coffee Orders

Darry: If he's around other people it's black coffee or an Americano but when he's on his own he gets a black and white mocha. If the barista recognizes him when he's with others they'll ring him up for a coffee and make him the black and white mocha.

Sodapop: tries something new everytime he orders. Man is pure chaos. Will drink anything the Barista's make he really doesn't care. The Barista's gave him a drink with every syrup once and he chugged the entire thing before getting sick. The Barista's will charge him for a coffee and then just make whatever they want.

Ponyboy: Tries to be mature and fancy and gets a tea, and always ends up hating it. Never finishes the tea unless he's put 10 honey packets in it. Genuinely wants a refresher but doesn't want to be made fun of.

Johnny: Gets a tea too but actually likes it. If anything Ponyboy orders a tea and Johnny gets a refresher and then they end up switching drinks. Johnny doesn't mind his tea plain or with honey but he cringes a little at the amount of honey Ponyboy adds.

Dally: Steals a mobile order or another order that's already done. Preferably a hot drink but Dally isn't picky. If it's free he'll take it.

Two-bit: A frappuccino with extra everything. Like Sodapop he likes to try new things. Honestly he just wants pure sugar. Sometimes he gets a big cup of whipped cream with caramel drizzle and eats it with a spoon.

Steve: An iced latte. Probably with toffeenut or hazelnut and mocha. Gets extra whipped cream and an extra shot of espresso.

The gang’s Starbucks orders

Darry: Nitro cold brew. I dunno it just suits him. And he probably needs all the caffeine he can get for working in the mornings.

Sodapop: I hc that he doesn’t do well with caffeine so he’d probably get an iced matcha latte. (Otherwise it’d be a caramel ribbon crunch)

Ponyboy: iced chai tea latte 😭

Dally: goes to dunkin instead. But if he HAD to then it’d be a dark latte.

Johnny: probably anything warm. so like a hot caramel macchiato.

Steve: also doesn’t like Starbucks but if he had to then it’d be an iced latte in general.

Two-bit: probably anything but coffee. iced tea 💀

They all get chocolate cake pops.

I like that when im reading headcanons of any of the guys, sometimes they repeat or are similar to what other people said. we’re like a happy family on here.

Outsiders headcanons!!

In general

- Darry will just sit on top of anyone in the gang who pisses him off. He can do it everyone really easily.

- (modern???) they all play the circle game with eachother (where you hold a 👌 under your waist and make them look) and it starts fights sometimes.

- Two-bit says “he’s right behind me.. isn’t he..” whenever literally anyone walks into a room.

- he’ll also just repeat whatever anyone said in a nerd voice and gets punched 5/10 times

- if Pony wakes up late, darry would say something about it like “WELL LOOK WHO CAME OUTTA THEIR CAVE” and receives the longest groan ever.

- Johnny picks stickers off of everything and puts it on everyone’s back (nobody knows it’s him. they have an investigation going.)

- *Pony points to a Halloween mask with fucked up teeth*

“Steve, I didn’t know you were famous ‘round here”

- if anyone comes up to dally with their problems (except for pony and Johnny) he’ll just make a really long sigh and say “and the world kept spinning… 😞”

- I like to think that pony doesn’t have a good sense of direction especially when he’s walking in a group so Soda has to like nudge him or turn him when they’re turning a corner.

- soda and pony also can’t stand/sit still so they rock if they aren’t walking. (Pony back and forth, soda side to side.)

- Actually has a beautiful singing voice.

- big brother figure to Johnny and Ponyboy. I think that’s canon tho.

- I feel like he’d click his teeth alot to where it gets annoying.

- tried to put a tip in for Johnny’s household to get investigated by social services but it just made it worse because Johnny was already forced to rehearse lines.

- I don’t think he’s an artificial blonde?? I think that fits soda more than Dally.

- type of guy to pat Johnny on the shoulder and go “get yourself something nice” and hand him twenty bucks.

- makes homemade Molotov cocktails.

- always wakes up at 6:30 no matter what because of being in jail.

- cold resistance. it could be 20 degrees (f) outside and he’d be walking around half naked.

- kicks the ground when he’s upset.

- very adamant on his stuff not being touched

- Yes, his hair is greased 24/7 in complicated swirls, but he always has a strand that sticks up in the back. Soda calls it Charlie.

- I feel like he doesn’t have a lot of beef with Ponyboy but is just upset he’s a third wheel to him and soda most of the time. Pony is convinced this man hates him.

- likes to use car parts in metaphors , especially around socs, to make himself sound smart. (He already is)
