bit of a wild occurrence... so i was playing nintendo with my housemates, and we were sitting shoulder to shoulder on the couch. and when you're playing these sorts of games, you're pretty focused and trying not to look away from the screen, right? maybe even lose some of your usual awareness of your surroundings? well, long story short....my housemate accidentally sneezed all over my arm. just this big, loud, unapologetic, half-covered "aaAaTSCHIEUU!" and of course her character got killed in the process--you really can't look away for even a second in this game.

i told her bless you, and she didn't even say excuse me or sorry or anything! i don't think she even realized i was in the spray zone😅

and then....a few minutes later....i felt a tickle in my nose. it occurred to me to hold it back, but i was too focused on the game to keep it in in time. i threw my arm in front of my face and let a little "iTSSHiew!" escape into my elbow. and (tmi warning i guess??) a lot more mess than usual came out of my nose and mouth onto my arm. i can only pray that none of it got on the people to my left or right. and of course, my character also got killed in the split second that my eyes were closed and my hand was off the controller!

what is it with these messy gaming sneezes?? also, my nose is still itchy...

What is the most in a row you have ever sneezed before?

i think it would be 13 or so, from a huge amount of chhinkni! normally i sneeze exclusively in singles with an extremely rare natural double, and i get maybe 3 or 4 sneezes from chhinkni! i still only ever get one sneeze at a time from inducing with a tissue--maybe a skill issue??😂

imagine...you're tied to a chair with your arms behind your back...and (insert whoever you'd like here) is straddling you and knows they're about to have a sneezing fit. maybe it's allergies, maybe a cold, but they can just FEEL it coming. and instead of turning away or covering or apologizing or any of the usual "sorry my nose is out of control" things, they tease and playfully threaten you with it, saying things like "i don't know...i just can't seem to hold it back," "it's coming, whether you like it or not...and it's gonna be big--hhHEH- and messy- aahhHhehhh-"

and. they sneeze all over you, pretending they can't control it, but really they're purposefully trying to let every possible sneeze out, never holding back for a moment. into your chest, your neck, everything.

cold update 2:

....the sneezes have started. my nose is running constantly. i fill up entire paper towels with mess when i blow my nose. i'm so constantly on the verge of a sneeze, and when i do it's so sudden and harsh sounding. sometimes i'll have these crazy buildups that take forever to get to the sneeze. i think i've had 7 today, which is a lot for me!

okay, even i have to admit this was comedic. i was carrying a bowl of hot chicken soup in one hand, a plate with a couple of comfort foods in the other, and balancing a full water bottle with my arm pressed against my torso. and i was walking up the stairs. and istg as soon as my foot hit the second or third stair, i felt a RLY strong tickle in my nose. idk what i would have done if i had sneezed--there was quite literally nowhere to put it without sneezing on the food or spilling everything. luckily, i managed to hold it in until a few hours later when a huge sneeze ripped through me into my elbow and made my nose run even MORE, if that's possible😭

i woke up sick 🥺 haven't been sleeping well and everyone around me has been getting sick, one by one. it was like a murder mystery--trying to figure out who's next! what i didn't expect was for the inside of my nose to BURN?? like...idk abt you guys but that's not usually on my having a cold to-do list?? but my little nose is congested and runny and burning instead of itching on the inside :(( not even fun

so the other day, my gf and i tried something out. i was starting to (nsfw warning) fuck her with my strap, and she was having a little trouble getting it in at first. i suddenly remembered the technique my gyno always uses to get the speculum in there....she always tells me to cough. like, i'll be already nervous in the exam room, and someone's commanding me to cough?? it always makes me sweat! anyways, i asked my girl to cough for me, yk, be a good girl and do what i ask😳and she coughed and guys....i FELT it in the strap. it pushed the strap out and then sucked it back all the way in rly quickly, and i could feel it. that's what gave me the idea...

also, in case you were wondering, my nose has been insanely itchy all day. not just "oh i kinda feel like sneezing" every hour or so. i mean like a couple times a minute, i'll get a rush of itchiness that almost feels like i might sneeze but ends up fizzling out, leaving me just gasping and sniffling. i ended up having to induce out a very wet sneeze, but i'm STILL so itchy!

this morning, my girl woke up a little before me. she was reading in bed while i was going in and out of sleep. i was dreaming abt traffic patterns (bc apparently i'm boring like that now??) and i SWEAR i heard them sneeze. i IMMEDIATELY woke up, moaned a little bit, and whispered, bless you~

and here's the thing. she swears up and down she DIDN'T sneeze. and no one else nearby did, and there wasn't even some sort of noise at the time. so this begs the question....did i dream about a sneeze so realistic it woke me up?

so with this cold, i've had noseblows literally unlike any i've ever had in my whole life. normally, i blow once, fold the tissue, blow twice, and then i'm good. but lately, i'll blow as hard as i can, make this huge loud gurgling noise, rocket out a huge amount of mess into the tissue, and then do it AGAIN and AGAIN and my nose is NEVER clear and it fills up like FIVE tissues before the mess stops shooting out en masse!! i didn't know my nose could hold that much snot, fuck😅

alas, i am not into mess or noseblowing. but i'm hoping there's a few ppl on here who can get smth out of this🥲

soooo i definitely have a full-blown cold. i live with 4 other girls and they're all sick, and my gf is sick, EVERYONE is sick. tis the season. cough cough

and even maximum strength robotussin isn't helping. throat hurt. very ouch
