I was sooo confused why Shamilâs ânew formâ seemed to use different sprites in different conversations, but now I think I have an idea? Look hear me out;
I believe we currectly have 3 different SMCs:
1st pic: Shadow Milk + Ultimate Cookie
3rd pic: Ultimate Cookie + Light of Deceit (?)
The dialogue is what makes this stand out because the 2nd look is not just an evolved version of the first one, they use the sprites interchangeably throught the story. For example, UltSmc talks down to Shadow Milk, calling him a failure and acting much more rude and cruel. Meanwhile, UltLoD seems more focused on rebellion and sticking to his original plan, using the power he has to achieve his goal.
For example his name being "???" confirms my theory i believe:
So honestly, Shadow Milkâs situation feels like a complete mess. There are basically multiple identities, influences, or fragments tangled up inside him at this point. He wants them to shut up and can't really handle it both phsically and mentally.
His own genuine desire for companionship seems to be clashing with Ultimate Cookieâs cruelty and the Light of Deceitâs rebellious nature.
Because of that, Pure Vanillaâs angry look here makes a lot more sense to me now. He is not just dealing with Shadow Milk anymore. He is facing something that looks like him, uses his form, and maybe even borrows parts of him, but it is not truly the same person- he is not just his other half anymore.
At this point, I honestly think Pure Vanilla is the only one who can still help Shadow Milk. But that is also what makes the situation feel so tragic. If Pure Vanilla reaches the point where he believes Shadow Milk can no longer be saved, and decides that ending him is the only option for the greater good, then I do not think Shadow Milkâs story is heading toward a happy ending.
It feels like everything depends on whether Pure Vanilla still sees something worth saving in him. Because if even Pure Vanilla gives up on him, then who else is left?
