Nick Mulvey - Fever to the Form
Another quite chilled out song. Have just got Nicks Album to listen to and will hopefully come back with some feedback once I have had a chance to listen.
Marijata - No Condition is Permanent
I couldn't put one on without the other. Another great song this time a little more upbeat and with plenty of brass
Marijata - I Walk Alone
This song has something very tropical about it. Its so chilled out an needed to be played on a beach, hence why its made its way onto my iPod for my holidays.
German Whip (REMIX)
UK style, grimey! Who has the best verse?
Disclosure - You & Me (Flume Remix)
Loving stuff form Flume at the moment. Done a good job with this Disclosure tune.
Clap along. Great track on the new album entitled Urban Animal.
We are on facebook!
Concito - Get On The Floor
Naughty Self Promotion. A garage / house inspired song.
Dansson & Marlon Hoffstadt - Shake That
Deep bass house music. Lyrics are simple and the beat gets you. Lyrics should be 'get on your way to the liquor store'. This makes you want to chill with a few drinks.
DJ Dan vs Lookback - Nothing But A Party
DJ Dan and Lookback give us a special House jam. Sampling from 'The Sylvers' mid 70's song of the same name, this song brings together the vibes of both era's. Both of which bring joy on a sunny day! Great to throw into a mix to get some *cough*older*cough* people up.
Dusky - Nobody Else
This is the first track on the EP of the same name - 'Nobody Else'. I have said a few times on What2Hear that 90's garage sounds are coming back. This track sways more toward a 90's house feel led by some nice vocals however other tracks such as the final track on the EP 'Dummy' leads to a more US garage style. In my opinion artists like Dusky are the start of something bigger. Eyes & ears open!
Daft Punk - Giorgio by Moroder ‘There was no preconception of what to do’. The way music should be created. This song takes lots of twists and turns and as explained is music through from the 50’s to the future. Thank you Daft Punk for allowing us all to time travel.
Synkro - Spirals
Synkro was one of the early artists in dubstep and one that has stuck closely to the principles of early dubstep. This song 'Spirals' from the EP 'Acceptance' released back in February has moved away from dubstep and deep bass and more towards a future garage style song. The use of pads and electronic pianos fill the gaps of the drumbeat to create a calm song perfect for a Sunday.
Fake Blood - Mars
Does it scare you when I say this came out 5 years ago? Anyway 5 years on and Fake Blood has just worked along side Fabric on the new Fabriclive.69 CD check it out: http://www.fabriclondon.com/store/catalog/product/view/id/495/s/fabriclive-69/category/8/
Utah Saints - Something Good
Who remembers this video? Who has just pressed play and now remembers this video? "I've never seen anythin like it in my life". Lets all #Do The Running Man!
Pinch Ft Yolanda - Get Up
Loved this song when it came out! Not a great video but unfortunately that's the only way I can let you hear this song. Oldskool dubstep back in the early experimental days.
