💔 …someone who broke my muse’s heart. 👀 …someone my muse likes, but doesn’t trust. 💩 …someone my muse dislikes, but admires. (Ghawain)
💔 Uncertainty registered in Tea's eyes whilst considering the query, her lips weighted by a magnificent frown as the mere question had sent her mind scuttling back to her years as a soft spoken child. It was clear by her inability to maintain eye contact that the topic was sensitive-- but she opted to indulge the man, solely due to believing that not talking about it was far more harmful... Bottling up those emotions would send her right back to where she was before ahe had ever met the nefarious Nine, bitter and sad:
"When I was young I fell in love with a boy of a lower station than me, a shoemakers son. My father, when he caught wind, had the boy publicly humiliate me for a cash reward for compliance. Never saw the boy again, but after he and his family disappeared with the money... I had a terribly difficult time recuperating as a young girl dealing with her first heart break."
👀 With the recent story still lingering in the back of her mind the Confessor opted for pushing those sad memories to the back of her head. That wasnt the only time her father made her life miserable, thus she'd not get hung up on what wasn't even considered the worst of it. Thus, his second query was met with a good natured smile.
"Between you and I? I quite favor Lord Kash'ebahl's ex-wife despite the messy breakup. Her original loss of devotion was, then, a terrible crime in our eyes, but ultimately... It's better this way I think," she pauses before quipping, "Though I'd never leave her alone with the tea pot or punch bowl at a party."
💩 The third question, however, officially earns a squinty expression from Tea. Honesty was the best policy here, but overall... She had to wonder what he gained being so nosey? In the end she concedes, adjusting her posture atop her seat.
"While her Ladyship Pyravari and I rarely see eye to eye," reflecting on the endless arguments and pettiness which hath transpired since Teas beginning among the Nine, she also couldn't help but reflect on their more recent interactions... Peaceful and chalk full of wonderfully vulnerable displays from the death knight-- Especially with Brinys present, "I'd be a fool to denounce her anything but clever, kindhearted, strong and courageous. Its just once you earn her ire it quite literally takes years to get on the right foot with her."
A content smile takes shape then, the Confessor watching the gentleman closely as she inquires slyly, "Are you satisfied?"
