Today, on the anniversary of stonewall, we appreciate the contribution to lgbtq progress that it was. It is especially important this year to recognize the major amount of progress that is owed to POC in the community. The Stonewall riots were against police brutality, which is why it is crucial to stand with black people now. Stonewall also shows that rioting, though it isn't "pretty" brings change. Stand with the black community now like they did for us back then.
