@wheneremiss
tell me why i feel even lonelier.
beautiful day, the sun was warm. the cool breeze felt nice. but you scare me. it feels like you’re the manifestation of all rejection i could get. i don’t know what you think of me, and for me to see you as a friend, i need to believe you like me. what do you feel about me?
you barely look me in the eye. don’t wait for me or sit beside me. which is nothing. but i keep overthinking there’s something the matter. because you came to me with a fight and i was so unprepared i keep expecting one all the time now.
i need more from you. i need reassurance. i don’t think i can go on much longer fearing your reactions.
if you do that again and push me away, this time it will break me. don’t break my heart, because i can’t help but care. in that regard you’re not special, hear me? i care about everyone. because everyone matters. but that includes you.
don’t even tell them that you know me
i would rather burn forever
you really outdid yourself this time. you acuse me of being friends with bad people, not tell me what they did to you, and treat me bad for talking to people i had no idea did any of that. i just met them. my god, i didn’t know expecting strangers not to be awful monsters was such a crime. how can i know someone’s past?
and you come here and tell to my face that i made you feel bad, unwelcome, and that you did such a deed to put up with them because i was friends with them. but you have your reasons to badmouth them, i’m sure. you just don’t want to tell me. you feel so superior because you isolate yourself whenever someone says something you disagree with. guess what, pal. people are real, they say things without thinking and they have prejudice. you have them too. we unlearn them by talking to each other. you don’t change the world living in a capsule. people aren’t perfect. they’re real. they say bad things and do bad things and make mistakes. you make them too. you act as if they were criminals who did unforgivable things. the average person is full of sins. we only got ourselves to save, who are you saving yourself to?
i don’t even want to look at you right now.
i can’t stand it
diary entry #1
it might be worse now i don't have a notebook with me. things are getting worse again, i can't stand my job. endless hours of the same movements over and over again. i look up when i can, to see the same people wearing the same faces doing the same things every time. the exact same movement like constant replay of a bad dream. sometimes it doesn't feel real. my body don't feel mine. it's like i'm stuck in a room watching the same tape of a point of view of somebody else's day. my hands feel detached from my body, nothing is real. i saw you crying today. i thought about talking to you during our break, but by the time it came the accident felt so distant and unreal that i gave up. i feel like i'm selling my soul. every day i feel more and more tired, i don't want to do anything, or talk to anyone. i don't feel like reading, or watching any movies. i don't want to learn, or study, or spend money or time on anything. i feel bad for sleeping, because i feel like i'm wasting my only free time from that place where i should be doing something to feel real, to create proof i'm a human being, and i exist. but i'm so tired. i wish i could take a break for a long time.

⋆˚。 ⋆Goodbye, Dragon Inn (2003) dir. Tsai Ming-liang⋆˚。 ⋆
if you told me i’m real i don’t believe you
if everybody can’t have nice things, what’s the point of me having nice things? i’m in the only kid on the playground with a toy to play with, what’s the point of playing?
i’m 30 pages in tom sawyer and i don’t think i can do it
toothless in 99 i got a ton of toothless requests; so i made this one move
commissions are open
when i think about the idea of life itself it’s so beautiful and fortunate and incredible and amazing and when i think about my own life and everydays pains and tortures i’m like life is truly a prison
Question for the mun!
What is your opinion on the third movie, specifically the ending?
Okay, honestly I'm a little nervous to answer, because there's a lot of controversy about the third film....but here I go!
On my first watch....I loved it, as a whole. The ending was bittersweet, and seeing them reunited with their kids, to me, was just amazing.
After watching it a few more times, okay a lot more, it does make sense why they had to say goodbye...hear me out!
Berk was becoming too dependent on their dragons. Hiccup was so focused on them it affected his ability to be a good chief.
Yes, they won their battle against Drago, and Viggo, and Grimmel, but...they lost so much, their luck would run out eventually and I think Hiccup knew that. He already lost his father, and Grimmel came very close to getting what he wanted, which was killing Toothless.
No matter the war, there are always casualties, and as much as the people of Berk loved their dragons, maybe it would have been safer to separate.
Ultimately, was it the right decision? Probably not. But, the way I see it, Hiccup had to make a choice. I don't think they could have continued the way they were going.
But then again, I also like to stay in the willing suspension of disbelief.
All of that being said, I have seen other takes on the film, and I do see their side as well. Why fight so hard to keep the dragons, just to send them away a year later?
🤷♀️ people change, don't they?
As Hiccup said himself, "I was fighting so hard for a world that I wanted, I failed to see what you needed."
The needs of the many outweigh the need of the few.
(just popped out of nowhere sorry) but to me this made so much sense. hiccup tried so hard to keep the dragons and their life as it was. everyone was saying it wasn’t doable anymore and he’d go “nah we’ll make room” “we’ll figure it out”, he wanted to take everyone on berk away for good just to be with the dragons in peace. but when he almost lost toothless it’s like it finally hit him it was a lost cause. sooner or later another drago or a grimmel was gonna show up and they might not be so lucky this time, he knows it’ll never stop bc he’s being fighting them for years, and he knew after going there that the hidden world wasn’t a place for humans. it was either have them stay and keep living like this and take more risks or let them go. regardless of how clearly the film showcased this struggle i think the ending makes a lot of sense. it’s so bittersweet but not just because. (to be fair i haven’t read a lot of the arguments of the ppl that didn’t like it, so if i’m missing something already discussed sorry)
