So thereās this artist, Alex Schaefer, who makes a bunch of paintings of Chase Bank burning.

I just read this bit from the artist and
This is a "plein air" painting which means I set up my easel right across the street of this Chase bank in my city and painted it like it had caught fire. The police questioned me on the spot. Three weeks later Homeland Security was knocking on the door to my home. The question they kept asking me was "Do you hate these banks?" I can honestly say yes.
And I just think this is the greatest artist statement Iāve ever read.
Noooo dont burn and stick to the bottom of my pan youre so flavorful and essential to my cooking process haha

We have ADHD. Sometimes weāll get it on you. We donāt do it on purpose, itās just not something we can control all that easily.
I recommend you find ways to enjoy the goo with us. Itāll make everything far more pleasant.

the fact that i havenāt felt the sensation of being double bounced on a trampoline in literal years is honestly sick and twisted
someone might be annoyed without you being annoying. someone might be rude and it wonāt be because youāre being infuriating. and someone might be short with you because of something or someone else rather than you. just because you had a bad interaction with someone or feel like they werenāt nice to you, doesnāt mean you should put all the blame on yourself. how others interact with you is mainly affected by their mood and how they choose to express themselves, and though you can affect the way someone feels, youāre not responsible for how they choose to treat you based on experiences and feelings that have nothing to do with you.
