probably a dumb question, but I don't know much about underworld lore and I was wondering

why did you decide to put in the three judges? and what do they do, exactly? some of the lyrics were hard for me to understand, so I apologize if I'm a bit dumb

Thank you so much! I plan to explore the judges a bit more in SfS-lore so I can't quite answer your question yet but here's how it's generally viewed in the original myths:

Minos:

Son of Zeus and Europa.

Chief judge of the Underworld, holding a golden scepter (as described in Homer’s Odyssey).

His decisions were final, particularly if there was any doubt from the other judges (Plato, Gorgias).

Associated with Crete during his life, and after death, he judged the souls of the dead.

Rhadamanthus:

Known for his great justice, often depicted as the more virtuous judge.

He judged the souls of those from Asia (Plato, Gorgias).

Sent those who lived justly to the Isles of the Blest, a paradise for the righteous (Pindar, Olympian Ode).

His judgment was described as separating the good from the wicked (Virgil, Aeneid).

Aeacus:

Son of Zeus and Aegina, judged souls from Europe.

Often associated with Aegina, his homeland (Plato, Gorgias).

Known for his fairness and devotion to justice.

Worked alongside Minos and Rhadamanthus, with a focus on helping separate the righteous from the wicked (Pindar, Olympian Ode).
