This is Cory’s first nomination highlighting his individual achievements as an actor. We all know how talented he is, but he is rarely, if ever, recognized for it- now is his time! It’s all up to us, you guys, his win rests in our hands. OOC: Of course! I think I'll post this publicly (and will probably make a post of their entire history sometime, too), so the rest of the followers get the heads-up.

Back in January or whatever, during the Super Bowl, Lea sang and Cory had packed a promise ring in her bag. She found it, and ended up thinking it was first from her mom, and then from Theo. That sort of started an argument when she found out it was from Cory, and then she felt guilty afterwards. They decided it would still be a promise ring of sorts - I think Cory called it a "pre-engagement ring". Then he had the bright idea to steal it from the trailer one day she was filming in early February, because he had this wonderful plan to give the ring to her in the right way on Valentine's Day. Lea thought it was stolen, and then on the actual 14th, Salgron invited them over for a dinner that they didn't end up going to anyway, so that plan was ruined. And then months passed, and Cory's never really had the chance to give it back to her, and Lea had bought a replacement ring and ... just recently she found out he took it, and yeah, she's a little pissed right now. Oops.
