uhh yeah hii this is (atm) a red valley sideblog (because im completely and utterly normal about this podcast ahahaha)

i've now finished all the current episodes :( and desperately awaiting s5

i alsoo don't really know how tumblr works but thats fiiine I'm sure :) this blog is also probably eventually just become a whole radioactive dump full of whatever horror podcast/audio drama im currently obsessing over listening to

i don’t think i will ever get over warren waiting with gordon over the recording. he skipped past the parts of the memoir he found boring but actively chose to sit through 40 minutes of silence. he chose to keep gordon company, despite the boredom, despite the fact that gordon will probably never know, despite the fact it doesn’t change anything. it mattered to gordon then and now it matters to warren

ive got into a few new fandoms since I last listened to a red valley episode and got jumpscared by grace (degracious mele) as my mind leapt to grace (ryland grace phm) and grace (grace chasity npmd)

i finally listened to wywhs4 pt 2 and oughhhh it was so good i forgot how much i loved this show. I think i was smiling through the entire episode, especially warren and gordon's chat at the choir rehearsal thing i love them so much

Also the person from Porlock being an “interrupter” is so GOOD. Gordon who can’t help but to infodump and ramble, and feel self conscious because of it. Gordon who insists on Warren being pulled into the Red Valley conspiracies and throwing Warren off course and into something else (unknowingly interrupting an experiment), him being wedged into Red Valley later on, him walking in on Bryony, him engaging with Warren during the experiments, him trying to escape, him getting shot— ALL OF THESE MOMENTS are him “interrupting” the plans of the company.

And that’s fucking awesome.
