Comic Status:

currently outlining the plot for each chapter! i want to get a complete order of every single event that happens so i dont have any pacing issues trying to freehand the story as i draw :3

About:

Whispers on the Wind is a Long Dark inspired comic i originally intended to make solely based off of a clangen game i started. I realized i wanted more control over the story than clangen would have given me, so i will use my starting events and characters and write a tale for them on my own. This will be formatted like a graphic novel. Characters designs and names have been changed beyond their original sprites.

i've done sooo many sketches with feeling out each characters designs and i'd love to actually introduce some of the ones i haven't shown yet, but they aren't digital because i haven't had the time as of late </3

decided suddenly i want to use inks for the lines instead of exclusively digital???? this isn't indicative of what they'll look like in the end, i want to test some more things out first. gonna buy a lightscreen and stuff

i'm thinking i do the sketching digitally so i can arrange things however i want + mockup the text placement so i know the size of the bubbles, then ink traditionally, then scan in the inks to color digitally again and place text. i think its gonna look really really cool in the end

i'll 100% do the text digital though bc i don't want to cause problems with my Handwriting

i've been extraordinarily busy but after january that should clear up for me :] yippee!

once the outline is done the comic will commence :) i'm working on a lil disc server for organizing everything; so when the comics ready to start going, i'll open it up for anyone who wants to hang out with me and talk about cats :3
