List under the cut
Whumper forces Whumpee to make a list of all the things they did wrong so they can be punished for it. Whumpee is supposed to hand it to Whumper at the end of every day. If Whumper feels like Whumpee missed something important, they will get double punished. Sometimes Whumper gets mad when Whumpee didn't include the smallest of things.
"remember when you didn't make eye contact with me when I walked in the room this morning? Why isn't that on here?"
Whumpee apologizes and gets beaten twice as hard. Eventually they end up in a perpetual state of analyzing their own behavior for mistakes.
Even worse, sometimes Whumper gets mad at them for things they didn't even do. If Whumpee insists it never happened they'll get punished both for the thing and for "lying".
Whumpee gets so paranoid that they end up writing things down that Whumper probably would never know otherwise, giving Whumper so many more reasons to punish them.
One day Whumper gets mad at Whumpee because Whumpee didn't put "having angry thoughts about Whumper" on the list. Whumper convinces Whumpee they know what they are thinking and that there is no point in trying to hide it.
Whumpee ends up conditioned to write down the "bad" thoughts they have, to be punished for them. They now aren't only desperately analyzing everything they do, but also everything they think. Whumper now officially has control over Whumpee in their own head.
When Whumpee is rescued, the conditioning doesn't go away. On the first day back home they meekly come to caretaker with a list of everything they did wrong, waiting for Caretaker to punish them. Caretaker is horrified by everything that's on there.
Feral/animal hybrid/pet Whumpee going through castration.
Whether Whumpee has actual animal features or is just a human being conditioned into being a pet; whatever amuses you more.
As they're fed, trained, and supported, they should be neutered as well.
We can't allow uncontrolled reproduction and future health problems to occur, can we?
Of course, Whumper, being the loving owner that they are, would never let that happen.
Muzzles, nausea, anesthesia and the aftereffects of it, discomfort due to the stitches. Will Whumper take care of Whumpee or leave them on their own?
CW: implied past trauma, bad caretaker
One More Chance
"Please, just give me one more chance!" Whumpee pleaded, tears in their eyes, almost falling out of the sofa trying to reach out to Caretaker.
Caretaker ignored their colleague and continued down the hallway. Whumpee got up awkwardly and dragged themselves, holding onto the wall, like an animal desperate for its owner's forgiveness.
"Please! I promise I'll improve!"
"I've heard that before. I think I heard it yesterday."
"This time it's for real! I promise. I'll go to therapy, I'll recover, I'll get a job, I'll... I'll..."
Caretaker turned abruptly, interrupting Whumpee with their bitter gaze and the venom from their mouth.
"No, Whumpee, you won't! You've said that a thousand times, and every day I wake up and you're still lying around in bed. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of supporting you, of making excuses for you because of your "depression" or whatever it is that your psychiatrist made up."
"I'm not pretending! I promise... I'm trying, but I can't..."
"I don't care if you're pretending or not. I want you out."
"Caretaker, please..."
"Out! Right now! Get out of my house!"
Whumpee nearly fell backward under the weight of the sentence. Caretaker yelled at them continuously, shoving them toward the door. Looking inside, Whumpee tried in vain to plead once more.
"And don't come back here until you have a work permit with your name on it!" they decreed, slamming the door.
CW: past trauma, mentioned abuse, rocky recovery, psychiatric whump.
Something specific I have been thinking of:
Caretaker having to look after a Whumpee who spent a long time in a bad psychiatric institution, where they were insulted, assaulted, mistreated, neglected, and even abused.
It's an exceptionally difficult task because, how can Whumpee trust any doctor after what they've been through?
Even better, how can Whumpee trust Caretaker if it was Caretaker who put them there, believing it to be a safe place?
Whumpee went in with one problem and came out a thousand times worse, or maybe they didn't even have any problems in the first place, but their stay in that hell hole guaranteed them several.
What if Whumpee gets sick in the street and wakes up in an ambulance? They'll surely open their eyes and panic. Those same faces around their bed. They can still feel the restraints digging into the flesh of their wrists and ankles. They can still hear the doctor ordering them to be sedated because they were being violent.
It is logical that they'd want to run away. But when they try, the paramedics grab them and pin them to the stretcher. Just the way they feared.
No matter what they do, they're back to the same hell.
And nobody understands it.
Remember, if your Whumpee is behaving badly, you could always perform a lobotomy on them. It will calm them right down. Or just threaten them and leave the tools within your reach. Whumpee will have a constant reminder to keep them in check.
The most delicious trait a defiant whumpee can have (in my opinion):
Bloody teeth.
Yes, give them a rough punch to the face, watch their bottom lip split open, wait a few seconds for them to spit a bit of blood onto the floor, then wait for them to raise their head and smile at you.
Look at their teeth, stained with blood!
I love that in particular.
Bonus points: include laughter + licking of their teeth or lips.
Whumpee who is so mentally unwell they start giving in to their intrusive thoughts and start doing impulsive, random, strange and, of course, harmful things. Because it's gotten to the point that they stopped caring about it.
Sleeping in the bathtub full of water, clothed, and with a blanket;
Burying knives anywhere but in the chopping block. In the walls, on the ceiling...;
Trying to get a plate from the cabinet and pretending they didn't see that it was about to fall to the ground;
Banging their head or their fists against the wall in a constant, morbid pattern;
Having less sense of space and, sometimes accidentally, sometimes not, bumping onto things;
Unplugging and plugging electronics again and again;
Things that go against basic survivability: crossing the street without looking two ways, using the washing machine while it's plugged in and while barefoot when the floor's wet — also includes turning the shower on and off repeatedly while barefoot —, keep standing up even when they know they're about to pass out...
Denial
CW: rocky recovery, maybe?
Caretaker stopped in front of the paper towel shelf, contemplating which brand to choose with a very short thought window. They had to think fast. They had left Whumpee in the checkout line and knew how nervous their friend must be at that moment, abandoned to their own fate, like a child left waiting while their mother fetched a forgotten item.
Caretaker finally made their choice and hurried back, but was startled to see that Whumpee wasn't where they had left them, in the priority line. They searched for them through the checkout lines, mild despair tightening their heart, when they finally found their friend waiting their turn to pay for their groceries in a regular line.
“Whumpee! You scared me. Why didn't you stay in the priority line?" they asked, approaching.
"I'm not priority," Whumpee retorted, unable to hide the annoyance in their voice.
Caretaker didn't respond, immediately understanding the reason behind the resistance and already anticipating the argument that would ensue if they insisted. They were in public, and they didn't want to stress Whumpee out more than their friend already was. As the line moved, Caretaker noticed that Whumpee had hidden their necklace, tucking it inside their coat. The autism identification necklace, which after much insistence and negotiation they had convinced Whumpee to request one after their diagnosis. But Whumpee refused to wear it. "I look like a cow wearing a collar with a bell, I'm not wearing this”, they had said.
They finished paying for their groceries and left the market in silence. Caretaker didn't comment on the use of the necklace until they got home, where Whumpee tossed the object onto the coffee table with disdain and went to their room to isolate themselves.

“...Alright, here we go.”
Whumper tossed the syringe to the floor, the clattering sound was loud in the quiet room. It was cold too. He didn’t even bother to give Whumpee a blanket. “Feel it yet?”
The person on the bed could barely move. The numbing sensation spread from their legs to their arms, leaving a tingly warmth in their wake. A hint of confusion appeared for a brief moment on their face before it relaxed again.
“I assumed you didn’t like how the last session went.”
It was hell.
The man stood beside the bed, eyes peering down on Whumpee’s empty stare. It almost looked beautiful if it’s not depressing. He sighed, not in annoyance, but in acceptance.
“You were screaming, thrashing and cursing out bad words at me. I didn’t like it at all. I wanted you to cherish everything that I give you.”
He brushed a thumb across their forehead, pressing down a bit with unnecessary force. Whumpee thought they would be safe tonight, that Whumper had finally given up on them. But when he unbuckled his belt, they knew they would be in for a long night.
I can’t feel anything.
“I know what you are thinking,” Whumper said, grabbing their ankles to part them away. “As much as I love listening to your cute noises, half of it wasn’t even for me.”
Then stop touching me, you fool.
“Tonight is for my pleasure, not yours.” He reached for the rope before stopping himself at the last second. “No need for restraints. You just gotta lie down and take it.”
“Don’t look at me like that, I’m not a cruel man.”
I hope you die.

One of my favourite phrases for a Caretaker to say to a stoic Whumpee who insists they don't need help, who says "No, I can do it" is:
"I know you can, but let me do it."
I like it because it shows they don't look at Whumpee with pity, and that they know Whumpee is capable, but everyone needs help sometimes, and it's good to just let your guard down and let someone help for once.
Whumpee may or may not say thank you afterwards, and depending on that, the scene gets even better.
Whumper strapping Whumpee to the passenger seat, and trapping their arm out of the car window.
Speeding across the streets, letting anything in the path hurt Whumpee's arm. The desperation of seeing yet another obstacle approaching. The excruciating pain of a scratched, bruised, perhaps broken arm. And the helplessness of not being able to retract their arm, or move from the spot.
The police aren't going to interfere. They don't have time for another idiot with their arm out the window, do they?

“Boooorinnng…”
Whumpee whined, lying on the bed with a small huff. It’s a little habit they had, saying things out loud whenever they were alone at home. Just in case someone put a camera in their house and were watching them right now.
Just in case.
It’s like making a performance to an invincible audience. They wanted to be noticed, no matter how messy and fucked up that sounded. They wanted to be seen.
“If you are watching me, you are a freak.”
Silence.
Whumpee sat up, looking around the room with playfully narrowed eyes. They smiled. Gosh, they actually wish someone were watching them right now.
“Am I not that interesting?”
They sighed, standing up and walked to their closet lazily. Being alone made them feel weirdly self-conscious. Actually, maybe they were the only person left on earth and were slowly going crazy. It’s possible, right?
The thought of it made them shudder. They didn’t want that, to be utterly consumed by loneliness.Â
They opened the closet door, peeking at the empty space under the hanging clothes. Without hesitation, Whumpee tucked themselves in. Surrounded by the darkness, they let out a soft sigh.
“You can’t see me now…”
They muttered, soft and small. Maybe if they stopped talking, stopped going out and stopped living, no one would ever notice.
They had no family, no friends and peers. Their life was basically useless now. But it’s okay, they lived a good life. They drank coffee every morning, did some exercise and met nice people. Even though not all of them were nice, and Whumpee wished those people would suffer in hell.
“Hey…”
Knock knock
“Hey…open up.”
Knock knock knock
“Open up. I wanna play with you.”
Knock! Knock! Knock!
“Open up!”
…
“Just kidding. Open up, yeah?”
“Whumpee?”

Since it's an open ending, I will tell you my interpretation about it
Whumpee died from lack of oxygen and the supposedly stalker was too late to introduce himself
