Bruh I feel empty, like good kind of empty after a show I like ends, but still empty
best case scenario Digital Circus gets remembered in a similar way as Steven Universe: a show that was Really Fucking Good and had nuanced characters and interesting things to say, but the audience wasn't quite ready for it and it imploded into a discourse ball. four years from now I expect to see lesbians drawing Jax like she's a renaissance muse the same way people still draw Pearl or Lapis
Even if I didn’t ship Bunnydoll, Ragatha and Jax being close/friends before everything went to shit WOULD DEFINITELY BENEFIT THE STORY writing wise and tie both of their arcs together.
Not only would it make their parallels and dynamic deeper and relevant to the story, it would also rightfully explore shared themes of death, grief, friendship. Showing how losing loved ones can cause one to double down on their coping mechanisms while one drifts away from the other can symbolize how grief can affect a relationship.
In addition, it could also exemplify how staying in the past and fear to take risks can destroy the present you have now, especially with the ones you love. How grief can strike fear into happy individuals. How love and loss can cause strong bonds to strain and falter.
Both Ragatha and Jax fear vulnerability out of fear. Ragatha fears being open of herself and being exposed out of fear that everyone will hate her and dispose of her like a doll. Even if she’s close to fully befriending someone, she sabotages it. Jax fears being open of himself and being exposed out of fear that everyone will see his vulnerability and his true positive feelings of them.
However, they both are headed towards different directions. While Ragatha took the help she got and recognized that she is deserving of love no matter what may happen, Jax continues to double down on his fears by continuing to break any relationship or positive turns he has left. Having them come together to understand one another and the similarities they have could benefit both of their stories and have them realize they aren’t so different after all. But it will be up to Jax to truly embrace that chance again.
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK 🗣️🗣️
i feel like either kinger or caine will come and comfort a certain character in the coming episodes. Or bubble. Or maybe Caine will talk to the abstracted for comfort too ig. Or maybe bubble will help him
I hope ep7’ll be a vacation/beach themed episode and we’ll have one or two of the characters (not saying who) either go ape shit or have a heart to heart and pour out all their feelings and the rest of them are off doin some weird shenanigans. Or that won’t happen and it’ll be more of a angsty dark episode which’ll be the climax for the show, and ep8 will be a continuation of said climax and flow into the resolution. Or not. Idk anymore my brain hurts :^
Okay, episode 6 was really good. I was even nervous waiting for the counter to reach 0 and see how this will go 😭😭. But I ended up enjoying it so much and I found it as one of the best chapters, if not the best.
So it got me thinking about with all the Bunnydoll crumbs we have here and the fact that is pretty much confirmed that Jax and Ragatha had a story together that not only includes Ribbit but this two (I'll post an analysis of what the future may offer and their individual personalities next week, so stay tuned!). But, after watching the episode, I remembered this other masterpiece episode and I thought "This is so before-Ribbit-abstracted Bunnydoll core".
And then we have the bitter exes-divorced-enemies-death Ribbit that we are seeing right now.
I don´t know. Timebomb and Bunnydoll are two ships that represent the two sides of the same coin (just like the respective characters)
literally what I was gonna post. Except you explained it in such a more elegant and beautiful way

blah blah
Went from “aww I might have a chance to be someone’s friend again” to “NOPE. Nada. Never again” in a millisecond
Damn, we’re not even in elbows deep. Props to all of the voice actors though, they fucking delivered in this episode ⭐️
Before people thought that the blood found on the cards of the teams in ep6 would get eliminated in the gun fight thingy. Not only were they right, but they’re the characters would have an emotional scene with their other teammates
and the fact that the symbolism of each card figure (spades, diamonds, and clubs) represents what happens to each team is beautiful
Bunnydoll nation…how ya’ll feeling?
Something def happened btw them
“Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to do all the heavy lifting when the other isn’t in the mood.”
“We all go through and deal with things differently, and sometimes, you just need to let people do things their own way.”
“Giving someone space should never be the same as giving up on them.”
