This cup of tea had no issues on snapchat or instagram. Seeing that tumblr has an issue with my wrist (admittedly one of the two photos of my wrist was scandoulously bare of activity tracker) and a photo of my late ginger tabbie, I’m waiting to see just how long it takes tumblr to flag this image that was once mistaken for a body part until the person looked again.

Dear Mr Gaiman, I loved Coraline when I was 11 and still do now, and am eagerly anticipating the Good Omens series. A quick question- do you like Sir Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment, and what do you think of it? I loved it, but don't know anybody else who's read it, so I was curious.
I have read it and I love it, for what it says about gender and about identity and about war. I think it’s also a window into another time. Did you know that it’s estimated that anywhere from 400 to over 1000 women soldiers fought in male disguise in the US Civil War? I often hear the argument that having major characters die is more realistic than having them always come through unscathed. Of course it is. But I personally don’t want my fiction to necessarily be “realistic” – I want my fiction to be entertaining. For me, that means watching engaging characters I care about get into and out of dangerous predicaments, working and thinking together in order to defeat the bad guys. While some authors (and readers) like the tension of wondering who will live and who will die, I prefer the tension of seeing how the heroes are going to think or work their ways out of each difficult or impossible situation they find themselves in. If I want realism and the deaths of people I care about, I can turn on the news.

I do not want to get invested in a character just to have them die or be violated or whatever, I don’t care that it’s dramatic. It’s not fun, it just leaves me angry and frustrated that I wasted my time on this media.
Thoughts about Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship
After reading Good Omens, it took me a while to put my finger on why I wouldn’t exactly call Aziraphale and Crowley my ship. Yes, they’re absolutely married and I loved all of their interactions and the book left me wishing I could read more about their shenanigans. But the word “ship” felt… not quite right. And then I realised it’s because they’re not the usual “oh just kiss already“ kind of duo. To me, they’re more like “oh just hang out together and have your casual everyday life for eternity“ kind of duo.
These two have their dinners at Ritz, Crowley drives Aziraphale home, they spend a lot of time together (we know that Crowley would often stay at Aziraphale’s way longer than he should), know each other very well, fundamentally disagree on numerous things and that’s how it works.
But from what we read in the book, it’s not like they don’t have lives apart from each other. Aziraphale has his books and his music, and Crowley has his plants and his Bentley… But still, they are immortal beings among humans. Sure, they love it, and they love the Earth - but it works in a way which I think nobody else (immortal or not) can understand. So it goes without saying that both Aziraphale and Crowley would be very lonely without the other.
And they are obviously fond of each other (it’s hard not to bond over something eventually after 6000 years) but it usually remains unspoken. Plus, I think what Michael Sheen said about them is absolutely spot on: Aziraphale is an angel, a being of love, so of course he loves everything and everyone in a way, including Crowley. And I like to think that Crowley, whether he likes it or not, hasn’t entirely got rid of that piece of his nature either. He’s not as good at being evil as he thinks.
Their relationship, their chemistry and dynamics can’t really be fit in human labels and if you ask me, that’s what makes it so unique. Trying to describe it with mortal aspects of a relationship is an easy way to lose the subtlety of what’s between them. That’s also why I hope the show will not change, but expand their relationship through the years.
tl;dr: Aziraphale and Crowley are disfunctional idiot husbands in their own special way and that’s why we love them and I hope the show sticks to this

so Rose can hold his hand. So a) Jackie knew from the beginning that the doctor belongs to Rose and she ships it harder then she wants to admit it or b) she really do not want to deal with such a responsibility like carrying for the doctor. What ever it was i think it is really cute

im honestly really confused by everyone who’s like “oh god based on the trailer they’re going to make crowley COOL” like y’all, that long hair and rockstar outfit combo is so ridiculous, especially on a sunny park bench next to aziraphale. he has a stupid fancy chair and unnecessary spinning door in his office. the dutch angle zoom in on his face in the phonebox while he tries to be chill saying “armageddon… yes…” is spot fucking on as far as crowley’s try-hard vibe. david tennant is good at playing twitchy, immortal man-children who just want to love humanity and i trust him
whoever chose that mustache for the 70s style crowley knew what they were doing.
and let’s not forget his very bad roman hair and even worse victorian sideburns. he basically got his hair right just in time for armageddon and he’s STILL wearing that stupid little scarf
