Whenever I see the Japan’s highest Mt. Fuji volcano, or Fuji-san, I feel something unusual.  Probably it comes from absolute isolation from everything around the mountain, as well as from its hugeness.  To me, sometimes the mountain looks to be a Godzilla-like monster who is quietly gazing down our tiny society from behind the hills.  In other words, something surreal.
