As she rested against the fence the low grumbling sounds of the decaying bodies on the other side. Honestly, she was fine as long as the grumbles and burbles stayed grumbles and burbles. When suddenly a louder growl and a bang came from the other side – her eyes widened and she moved away from the fence line.
“Me either,” she offered, “I’m from Arizona, my ex dragged me up here.” The blonde lowered her eyes and gave a scoff before tacking on, “don’t worry, going in there is the last thing on my mind.”
When she took a step forward due to the louder growl from the other side of the fence, Will took a few steps back as well. He was worried about the integrity of the fence, but it looked like it would hold enough for their conversation. Moving might be a better idea, maybe to one of the other houses or across the street. It would certainly be safer. Will shifted from foot to foot stopping himself from bolting and focused on her words.
“I was traveling around the country myself so I can’t blame someone else for coming here,” he said ruefully. “Oh that’s good. I didn’t really think you would, you know? Just was reminding you it would be a really bad idea.”
