I really appreciate that she said this.
So often in this industry – in every industry really, but definitely in the arts – it’s like, go-go-go. What’s next? How are you going to get to the next level? How are you going to one-up this? And it’s because success feels so rare, and once you have it, it feels like you have to keep moving upward to keep it.
But it’s not that simple. “Success” is not that solid – it’s not that elusive either, depending on your definition of it.
Quinta has a HIT NETWORK SITCOM. She doesn’t have to one-up shit. She can rest if she wants to! She should! I hope she has comfy pajamas!
