weâre a professionally dxâd (no longer polyfrag!!!! wooooo recovery!!!) Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) system in treatment. in our late 20s and we collectively use it/its pronouns. our hosts rotate, and we donât have a âcoreâ or âoriginalâ alter. weâre seeking integration and functional multiplicity.
we discovered our system in 2018 and got diagnosed in 2019, this blog will have content pertaining to DID/OSDD, other dissociative disorders, comorbidities, amnesia, trauma, and abuse. This blog is 18+, meaning your biological age must be 18 or older to follow. Mind your own triggers.
âendogenic/multigenic/polymind systemsâ please do not interact with this blog under any circumstances. I will not engage in this discourse with you.
we don't engage in shipping, kink, or (non-big 3) paraphile discourse as different parts have different stances. interact as you will.
pwCDD flag for partial integration by @aka-collective
yeesh she's back y'all. idfk how she block evaded me because I've had her blocked for a minimum 3 years but she sure did. and the nerve to tag both my main blog AND my system blog is insane just for me adding a tag on a post.
anyway. the phenomenon described in the original post is not blending, it's integration. if waterboarded op is a cdd sys, that is a sign of recovery. if waterboarded op is not a cdd sys, that's their brain telling them to stop trying to force dissociation when it's unnecessary.
I can't speak for anti-endo-suzie because I am not them, but I wasn't fakeclaiming anyone. Lived experience is lived experience. I frankly think a lot of 'endø/willø' or whatever the fuck they're calling themselves these days sys's are actually cdd sys's, but in no way ready to acknowledge or face the trauma and dissociation, so they cope by calling it something else. of course there's a handful of people roleplaying, but I don't think it's the majority. but also, "partially-traumagenic" is not how that works. systems are formed from trauma point blank. if you have a system, it is because at some point in your life, your brain dissociated to the point of splitting to protect you from trauma. There is not another cause of systemhood. Claiming something else might make you feel better about it, less disabled or ill, but it's just not reality. And I certainly don't support encouraging delusions, as someone who has suffered them.
I don't take kindly to people making light of debilitating psych disabilities and their symptoms though, which is what that waterboarded post did. 'how do we stop this?' you have got to be fucking kidding me.
Not to mention, pro endøgenics/tŹlpas continue to show their raging transphobia by using the phrase 'sysmed' despite repeatedly being told not to do that by trans people due to where the term is derived from. So no. I will not take what you say with any grain of seriousness until you listen to marginalized people for approximately 2 seconds.
Also.... Animals??? driven solely by hate??? you expect to have a rational conversation when you're actively dehumanizing other people like this?? Be so real for a minute. You don't actually care about common ground or understanding. You care about the discourse. You care about berating other people. You care about being right. And that's all you care about. Please stop pretending like you actually care about pwCDDs.
Hello! Welcome to @madsys-official , this blog is inspired by @sysfreak-official my system and I wanted to create a tag and label SPECIFICALLY for systems who are very mad pride. Now I know sysfreak likely already includes this, but theres literally no harm in creating an offshoot term for systems who wanna get super specific.
Madsys and sysfreak are NOT to be compared to one another, my term is not better than sysfreak and sysfreak is not better than mine. This tag was fr self indulgent largely because mad pride is a cultural-political identity and movement and I know a lot of systems (including myself) like to include their political stances in their identities.
I highly encourage that if you already use sysfreak as a tag that you CONTINUE to use said tag, just add mine on if you'd like to. (Like how you can tag sysfreak, dissociapunk and dissociafreak).
Below the cut you can find the official stances of madsys as well as flags i made âď¸
What is madsys all about?
Madsys is anti psychiatry HOWEVER, from researching it seems that we dont hold the same ideas that a lot of other anti psych people hold. So just...keep that in mind...
Here is what we specifically believe:
- we believe that mentally ill patients should ALWAYS be awarded bodily autonomy and should be allowed to choose any and every treatment they go through, if they go through treatment at all.
- we believe that it is important to acknowledge that the psych industry needs HEAVY reform in how it treats specific conditions, and especially how it treats more severe presentations of such. But also acknowledging that the research into psychiatric conditions has provided a lot of benefit to people in terms of being able to put a label to what they go through.
- we believe there needs to be HEAVY reform to any and all mental health legislation from all governing bodies internationally
- we believe that patients should be allowed to present self diagnoses to their care team and be allowed access to investigative care based on those diagnoses, as in patient says "I believe it have bipolar based on (evidence) I would like to look into that" and their care team will provide that care. We are aware that this does already happen but it doesn't not happen often enough.
- we believe that the mistreatment of mental health patients (including institutional abuse) should be considered as more of a serious crime by the justice system than it currently seems to be.
- we believe any and all individuals with mental disorders dederve the chance of recovery whether that be through 1:1 therapy or finding ways to help yourself instead. Including paraphilic disorders.
Disclaimer!!
Whilst we believe anyone should be able to display their mad pride #madsys is inherently against the endogenic / non traumagenic / natural multiple movement, as well as this we are against transIDs as these groups are inherently ableist and display behaviours designed to take advantage of vulnerable people. That being said we absolutely encourage the reclamation of terms and labels for the communities they should belong to, we welcome recoining blogs.
We also highly encourage education on the harm these groups do and HEAVILY DISCOURAGE harassment. You are not welcome here if you believe it is okay to harass ANYONE, including transIDs & endos & radqueers of any age and regardless of whether they have caused harm or not. Because of this madsys is not aligned with radnormal, cleanqueer, ethiqueer, moralqueer etc etc.
And the final disclaimer, I realise im making this tag when there is a rise of blankqueer labels and an increasing wave of harassment towards those with any paraphilic disorder and so I want to say that madsys is NOT a blankqueer label please DO NOT TREAT IT AS SUCH. madsys works similarly to sysfreak, pluralpunk, cripplepunk and other similar cultural-political identity terms.
Flags & symbols
We have two flags, and two symbols.
Flag & symbol set #1
This is the mad pride flag WITHOUT the Cheshire symbol, I am unsure who made the mad pride flag so I sadly cannot credit them right now but the lotus CDD symbol is a recoloured png of @aka-collective's anti endo CDD symbol
Flag & symbol set #2
This is the mad pride flag WITH the cheshire symbol, again i do not know who made this and it features another recoloured png of @aka-collective's anti endo CDD symbol
Sysmeds are fakeclaiming traumagenic systems again...
Sometimes, I wonder if the reason sysmeds will censor the names on posts isn't so much about protecting their victims as it is preventing people from fact checking them.
It wasn't hard to find the original post though.
And from there, it wasn't hard to find them talking about being mixed origin and specifically traumagenic.
And the thing Susie is fakeclaiming for is blending. It's a common experiences a lot of CDD systems suffer from.
This is why CDD communities will never be safe as long as they allow sysmeds like anti-endo-Susie.
Sysmeds do not care about protecting traumagenic or CDD systems. They're animals driven solely by hate, and will happily fakeclaim and attack other traumagenic systems just to advance their hateful agenda.
Just to further drive the point home about how abhorrent and ableist sysmeds are, let's run an experiment!
Let's see what happens when you inform some of the sysmeds who liked or reblogged the post that the system they're fakeclaiming is a partially-traumagenic system!
Audiobook alter: an alter who reads aloud text in innerworld allowing other alters to process and understand the text the system is reading.
Like this term or role? Feel free to send us a request! Thereâs no flag too specific or niche for us to handle! Like seriously feel free to request anything this blog currently doesnât have any new request!ďżź
This flag does not have ID, id write outs would be appreciated
Oh hey, the person who made ramcoaresources.carrd.co has removed their RAMCOA resources and admitted this stuff was harming them.
"A small word of advice; it sounds counterproductive but over-analyzing and obsessively categorizing your trauma responses and systems doesn't work very well for your psyche" - in other words, "so I did this stuff and it actually made me worse." Basically, same results as reported by a number of retractors on StopBadTherapy.com.
If you're going to listen to survivors, listen to people who tried this so-called therapy and came out worse.
For anybody else reading this: religious abuse is real, human trafficking is real, and sexual abuse is real. What's demonstrably not real is the alleged practice of using torture to deliberately give people DID and creating customized alters to fill certain roles and perform certain tasks. To learn more about how we know this, click here.
this pride month it's very important to remember: debilitating illness, trauma, and dissociation is not your personal identity - you do not get to claim it as such when it is something you have not been through or do not experience. thanks! <3
You know what the worst part of having a dissociative disorder is, for me personally?
The emotional amnesia.
Your entire life feels like something that you watched on TV, rather than something that you actually lived through.
You know that some of the most horrific things imaginable have happened to you, and you feel nothing about it. Sure, the memories disgust you on principle, but you donât feel anything.
It makes you question if anything that you remember is real. If that actually happened, shouldnât it feel significant? Shouldnât you be sad, angry, hurt, something?
And to top it all off, nobody understands. Not even yourself.
Being a system is like one day youâre convinced that your abusers are actually good people and they never did anything bad to you and youâre just making it all up and the next day your brain will randomly decide to bless you with the memories of the fucking war crimes your abusers committed towards you while youâre waiting in a Tescos parking lot or some shit
